They should show the players more /especially after the game. Iem got that right (prop to my fellow countrymen take for beeing an awesome interviewer haha).

i don't really like the format of this. dae think Huk entering the finals 2-1 in a bo7 is a little off? I'd prefer it was a fresh bo5/7

Almost every tournament with a losers bracket always has handicapped finals. It's only fair to HuK.

Makes sense that it would be handicapped winners vs losers, why would someone who already was knocked into LB have same fighting shot as someone who remained in UB entire time?

The crowd in the Tekken 6 tournament is annoying. It's the "homies" of that ATL Porkchop guy or wahtever. They make loud noises every single punch.

That's not a brutal ahndicap. It makes complete sense. Huk has NEVER lost a match, whereas Kiwikaki has already gotten his "single elimination" to the loser's bracket. How unfair would it be that Huk only gets one elimination, but Kiwikaki gets two?

Each player gets to lose one match(i.e. 2 games in a single match). Huk has never lost one yet, Kiwi already has. Thus, Kiwi is already one "elimination" behind Huk in this "double elimination" tournament.

Use your brain, it would be totally unfair any other way.

They've done this in halo for years, and the team that wins usually have won with or without this bracket rule.

The reason MLG runs the brackets this way is to avoid a situation where Player A 2-0s Player B, then Player B 2-0s Player A in the lower bracket. The final score is 2-2, which doesn't make sense.

In reality this doesn't play out any differently than a normal grand final, where the player from the lower bracket must win two sets and the player from the upper bracket only needs to win one.
