Who: This is an open tournament but we will try to take higher ranked players first. 32 - 64 players.
Where: This is a US client tournament. All accepted participants will be e-mailed a password for our Ventrilo and more information. You can watch the live stream at: Http://Sc2tourneys.com/multimedia or Http://justin.tv/Sc2tourneys
Prize: $50 paypal prize for 1st place.
Rules:
1. No cheating or hacking.
2. No racism or discrimination in game or on vent.
3. You will need Ventrilo to participate (a mic is not needed). Unless you are saying GLHF or GG there is no reason to communicate with any of your opponents.
4. Any disconnects before the 3 minute mark will under most circumstances be replayed. Any disconnects after 3 minutes will be deferred to the admins if the players can not reach an agreement on the outcome. Keep in mind, a disconnect is not kicking the plug out when you get reaper rushed.
5. You have until the start of your First match to change your registered race. You must use the race you picked for the entire tournament.
6. After you win your match you MUST send replays@sc2tourneys.com your replay to proceed to the next round. If you are eliminated please graciously leave ventrilo, and sign up for the next tournament.
7. Semifinals will be best of three and finals will be best of five.
8. Anything amounting to unfair play or disruption of play can disqualify you from the tournament.
9. Referee decisions will be confirmed by the tournament organizer and all decisions are final. Any breach of the rules can result in disqualification.
10. All replays will be analyzed.

hey MorroW,
The tournament is August 8 2010 at 7:00pm EDT. The tournament banner I posted shows the date and time and i think the teamliquid forums should automatically convert the time for your timezone in the post. I hope this helped.

Eastern Standard Time (EST) when observing standard time (winter), and Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) when observing daylight saving time (summer).

Ok, the tournament check-ins start at 6:30 pm EDT and the actual tournament starts at 7:00 pm EDT which is the yellow zone in the map. Now as you can see Texas is in the green part, unless you live on the west-most tip of Texas which appears to be on mountain time. Central time is -1 hour, mountain time is -2 hours and pacific is -3 hours. At this point I pray I am being trolled lol. Next up a world map?

I am sorry i couldn't fit everyone. Sometimes it came down to what order i read applications some people knew exactly what to say in the blurb. Either way there will be more tournaments and i hope to see you in one of those.

Thank you everyone for the interest - However due to people not showing up we cut the tournament down to a 32 man tournament. The last 3 spots were filled by the back up and who was on the official list (That showed up/contacted us first). Sorry for any inconvenience. We are remaking the bracket and the tournament will begin shortly.

I am sorry and we learned a lot from the tourney...
1- not to use email to communicate with people because of spam filters (ALL INFO WAS SENT...)
2- We had to go with less people for the tourney unless we wanted to wait hours to finish gathering another 32.
