I'm pretty sure everyone thought that Idra was forfeit because admins on several occasions said that Idra was banned. Come on now.

No no, ESL did nothing wrong, it was all about lack of cooperation from players that messed things up

I don't think there has been a single tournament where this guy has not caused trouble thinking he's above the players themselves let alone other casters who are usually significantly better than him, with higher resolution streams that don't lag to shit.

This post is right on, in my opinion. I've watched BigT's stream a lot lately, mostly because the alternative is usually Puremiss who has a lesser understanding of the game than BigT.. still, BigT has been consistently childish and unprofessional. The provoking mentioned above, the msn chat-ups with his friends who are playing in tournaments, his whining about other casters (and co-casters) make me sick.
If nothing else, it makes me appreciate Raelcun and the ICCup crew even more, and I'm glad they're continually branching out.. it's a real bummer when the only option is to watch BigT's stream.

LastShadow obviously had the game vs bubba in the bag. But he plays terran so I am fine with re. If I were in bubbas shoes in this tournament at this point I would quite possibly make the same decision.

I dis concur... i dont think i would not have GG'ed yet in that situation, and lets not forget Slush's awesome play vs Lz :D . Bubba could have cause some serious economic damage with mutas, which is all he needed to get back into the game.
EDIT: However Terran SHOULD get everything handed to them :p

I don't really understand how anyone can take sides in this scenario, everyone has done something wrong in one way or another and everyone should just put this behind them, move on and learn from the situation...
IdrA needs to understand that shit happens and reacting with bad manners and insulting people does not solve anything. Yes frustrations arise from these situations but learning to control them will benefit you much further in the future.
BigT whether being facetious or not needs to learn that when you write comments in TEXT format no one can understand what "tone" you're using. Saying "i was just kidding" after the fact doesn't excuse it. Whether or not these comments affected IdrA is unimportant, if you were doing this to someone else it may affect them and that creates an unfair situation for the player in question. Honestly BigT seems pretty immature and unprofessional, from what was said to IdrA and going to the ESL admins whining about the cast situation.
ESL needs to get a better system in place for administrating these tournaments. I don't even understand how it's possible that 2 rounds of a tournament can be played without them realizing a f-up has been made. Also they need to keep proof of any rule breaking behaviour, and have a head admin to which all sides can explain their side of the story, provide proof and that head admin will make the decision for important things such as whether a player is banned or not. Coming onto TL.net and announcing someone has been banned just for the sake of it is so unprofessional.
Overall all sides in this situation need to take a step back, realize that everyone made a f-up of some kind and move on and put this behind them. IdrA should manner up, BigT should grow up, and ESL should make sure a situation like this doesn't happen again. It reflects poorly on all parties.

Anyone else notice how as soon as the spire starts building Ajtls rushes all in with his Marader/Reaper, and as soon as the spire finished he masses marines and starts building turrets. All this without even seeing the spire hmmm???

His timing with marauders made total sense. There was no reason to go later. He could have possibly gone earlier, but whatever his timing made sense.
As for marines. In a situation where you have a game won 100% you just build counters to stupid shit that the other guy can do for the .01% chance he still can win. In this situation it would be by building anti air and detectors.
Not to mention he ran into roaches with his reapers.
Nothing fishy about what he did. However, streams should absolutely have a 2-5 minute delay.

He did that after slush went muta against him and he didn't have turrets. The second game against slush he blind turreted cause of the muta threat. Good assumptions though.
