This "Puremiss" guy on the GosuGamers stream is a sad, sad little man. Half his time is spent saying "OMFG I WISH IDRA WAS KNOCKED OUT AWW HES STILL IN DAMN IT".

Maybe I missed the part where commentators for serious sites and tournaments shouldn't be flaming and wishing other players were kicked out tournaments, regardless of their personal behavior...

So confused. Can someone tell me the difference between these NA games and the IEM tournament in Cologne starting Aug. 18th? Are these two IEMs completely separate?

IEM north america... IEM europe , and I believe there is IEM world championship, in which top players from the NA, EU, Asia(?) get invited...

correct me if I'm wrong.

And I agree about the casting. If you are representing a real organization like GosuGamers, or if you want to take casting/commentating seriously, you need to be professional at all times. It's cute that Puremiss says dumb things about IdrA a lot, but as a caster, it's terrible. Nobody is going to take the GosuGamers stream seriously (I really hope they don't) with a caster like that.

Puremiss, aside from the actual poor quality of the casting in general (I.E. lack of game knowledge, and insightful analysis), your personal biases coming through are not funny... they're just incredibly amateur and boorish.

T_T! It'd be cool if GosuGamers would enforce professionalism in its staff.

As far as I know Zelniq is Zerg, isn't he?

In that case, IdrA's got no one to bitch at but himself.

Commentating has been pretty bad across all streams all weekend. It seems like a slew of mediocre casters have come out for SC2.
A sound mind in a sound body, is a short, but full description of a happy state in this World: he that has these two, has little more to wish for; and he that wants either of them, will be little the better for anything else.

when you act the way idra does, you deserve any criticism you get, sorry.

Uh, no. It's one thing when a random forum person says stupid things about IdrA... but when you are supposed to be representing a professional organization, you should behave like you're older than 15 years old.

Quality of the actual casting is almost irrelevant to how much I dislike personal biases coming across. Come on, it's GOSUGAMERS, one of the premier gaming sites on the internet and their chosen caster should be trying his best to be completely unbiased and professional to the extreme (which I don't think he is). Game knowledge, analysis, etc, are things that can't be fixed in one casting session, but being more professional in terms of just commentating games and leaving drama outside would certainly be appreciated.

@ PanzerDragoon: sure u can say that Idra might deserve his criticism but not by an official caster for a professional gaming site ^^

That said, I appreciate him taking the time to cast these games and hope he continues to improve as the game and tournament gets older.
