i love how ive never heard of the guy that they were all going to try to get into the HDH2 and they were thinking that he would win. lmao...

Avilo - he is pretty intelligent US player although he sometimes does some subtle trolling Decemvre - really good player Moman, cool player from france

Here's my short LONG but sweet suggestion on how the tourney should play out in terms of time and schedule:
I'm assuming 3 match-casts/hour are your average rate (and that's being optimistic).
Ro60: 15 Groups of 4 from the individual league format: 2 randomized pairings, then winners/losers and final match: for 75 matches in this round. Top two advance. 5 Groups/weekend for 3 weekends. [25+ hours of casts]
Ro30: 6 groups of 5 in a Round-Robin (UEFA Champion's League Group Matches style); Top 2/group advance. Ties between 2nd and 3rd are settled by their match vs each other. If 3 players tie 2-2, if 1 player has a 2-0 record vs other 2, he advances, otherwise play a randomized tiebreaker round between 3 players. Minimum of 60 matches, can go as high as 75 if all groups have tiebreaker matches. 3 Groups/weekend for 2 weekends. [20+ hours of casts]
Ro16: 12 players from Ro30 + 4 HDH1 semifinalists. Idra/WhiteRa get random 2nd placers from groups, TLO/NonY get random 1st placers. Otherwise match players not from the same group with each other 1st/2nd. 8 Bo3 matches on one weekend for max of 24 matches. [around 8-10 hours of casts]
Ro8: Bo5s in a maximum of 20 matches. 1 Weekend? [6-8 hours of casts]
Ro4: Bo7s in a maximum of 14 matches. 1 Weekend? (can be the same as Ro8 weekend) [4-7 hours of casts]
Finals/3rd Place matches: Bo7s in a maximum of 14 matches. (definitely 1 weekend of their own) [4-7 hours of casts]
(or even a LIVE Bo9 Final for EPICness if we get a dream match incoming)
That would give you guys around 2 1/2-3 months of games and around a week's worth in elapsed time of SC2 games. Not bad for a 64 player invitational.

Thats seems like a good way to drag out a tournament ;/ Zotac cups are finished in one day with hundreds of players. I'm sure The hdh could be as well.

I'd recommend avilo, a very decent terran player and his games are very interesting to watch. I think you can find a lot of his games even here on TL. Also would be interesting to see Kiwakaki, he showed some very nice micro in his games.

Invite Filthy instead of Legionnaire.
I'd love to see madfrog playing %)))
|
No, Just the one's worth watching. I'm sure there is a more conservative schedule that could be worked out. I'm sure HDH has something good planned.

I recommend some Bulgarian players.E
1.(Protoss) Zeerax - One of the top players in his country and participant in alot of tourneys and invitationals. 2.(Terran) Insomnia - same as zeerax. 3.(Protoss) Akita - aka LRM)Sweeper - decent protoss player played alot of ladders and gaining.Reaching 5-6-7 round in every ESL tourney.
Since there are not much protoss players, i would recommend this ones. Its sad if we don't see a player from Bulgaria.....

wow 51 - 60 people, i don't think you 2 can handle it. You might need more people.

I really want to see decemvre participate, he is a hard working zerg and could probably compete with most of the names already invited.
others i'm interested in are:
Unknown art (Madfrog) finished 1st place in phase 2 out of every server if memory serves me correctly, even though ladder points aren't the best measure of ones skill it still means you've been working really hard.
Kiwikaki, just all around solid player who is always fun to watch!
also i'm glad to see both morrow and jinro, gl guys im rooting for you!
