Just wondering about why ESL is hosting in German. And come on dont compare with the Asians that have a completly different language and dont learn English in school neither do they have any of their media in English on their entire continent. You cant compare Germany with Asia since Germany is just a small country in Europe and they could ofcourse be speaking English. Since the Internet isnt restricted by country borders it just makes sense to host events broadcasted on the internet in English if you can. Would be different if it was on a German TV channel only broadcasting in Germany.

And so do Koreans. EDIT: I don't mean to insult Germans or Koreans, I apologise if it comes out that way. I obviously (in my mind) meant the leagues/casters/organisers need to l2 English or have their language + English streams. Pretty sure, especially for large tournaments the benefits would greatly compensate for the price of a couple of English commentators (think stuff like MSL finals, even this GO4SC2 finals, assuming they did enough advertising ahead of time - kind of like HDH did).

"How is what HuK does cheesy? He plays the matchups how you're supposed to and if he doesn't he does somethign different and adds a twist. He didn't just harass with DTs there he used them in his army composition and it punished Morrow. It's a strategy game rofl Void rays were considered cheesy vs Terran.. then everybody did it and it was no longer cheese it was considered a strategy. What HuK did wasn't all in and HuK doesn't always play all in. He has good timing and is a strong player who has good mechanics even late game. He just rolled Morrow early game 'cause Morrow greedily took FE on Blistering Sands = suicide" calm down. DT's is considered "cheesey" because they are not good units if terran has turrets but he played it solidly and didn't go all-in with them. I'm calling "with a twist" "cheesy" thats all.

I posted that as first pheonix was being built. I meant that earlier void would have prolly caused even more pain than these three did. Even so, he lost them kinda easily. He did very good, but could have done even better i think.

He haven't really used the pheonix's to their full potential, so a void might have been a better choice.

![]() As I've said in other places, North American players should really be invited to more international tournaments. The guys at EG, root, etc. are fully capable of competing with the best of the EU and possibly Asia as well.

I don't get your point, the tournaments are open for everyone, but when the NA players don't assign on those tournaments it's their fault.

Weekly tournaments, sure, but there are many invitationals that have a disturbing lack of NA representatives, especially international ones like those sponsored by GG.net and Asian organizations.
