Along similar lines, I watch Polt's games, compare them to how I play, and think that this sort of guide can basically be summed up as: 1) Polt is awesome 2) You, on the other hand, suck at Starcraft 3) That is all | ||

Its not that polt is good and everyone else is bad, its that his ability to create space on the map and control it is what wins. If you learn how to do even a portion of what he does, and have a gameplan like he does, you will win much much more. | ||

Polt has a unique style of TvP of basically multipronged hit squads. Compared to what other Terran's do which is mostly posturing, Polt does a lot of doom drops that is interesting to see and much more fun to play. And really, one series doesn't really mean that much in the grand scheme of things. He's been really damn good in every matchup for the last few months. | ||

Actually, I think it is just a stylist match up issue vs First. First is really good in terms of splitting his army and defending vs multi pronged attacks. His weakest seems to be positioning for big engagement. Thus First is bad vs SCV pulls and that is why First has been losing a lot of TvPs recently. | ||
