As most of you have seen, i've been getting coaching sessions with Response and InControl to try and get better, this is just another one in that series.
This is my second coaching with Response, he went extra long with me which I was grateful for.
The video is in 2 parts because my internet decided to crap out part way through.
We start with several PvT games where he critiques my play and we make adjustments along the way. He gave me lots of great tips and lots of stuff to work on, general build strategies, etc. I'm sure lots of people suffer from the same issues I am fighting, so hopefully people find it useful.
We do a little bit of PvZ stuff expanding a little on what InControl had worked on with me, mostly things like mid-late game transitions, unit compositions, and other ways to make sure to keep an eye on what zerg is doing so you aren't caught off guard. Finished off with a PvT game and a bit of overall q&a from the stream participants.
Once again, I do have permission from Response to post this, and if you would like to contact him for coaching he is $20 an hour and generally goes long if he can so it's well worth the money. Email his fiancee inluv77@gmail.com to schedule a time, he has accounts on EU, Korea and NA.

Nice! Ever since you did the PvZ with Incontrol, I've been waiting for a PvT session. Their coaching is great!

I also have SC2RAR (auto renamer) it might be that? Not sure.

Been checking out your other recorded coaching sessions and I must say they're just an excellent excellent source of information and help to my protoss play, I thank you so so much for doing this.
thank you verymuch, I find this matchup far harder than pvz right now. I have been using the pvz build incontrol showed you but with a 2nd robo after I take my third. I love it and it was very generous of you to upload the videos.
this is so helpful, thank you!
Yeah this is helpful, but I missed the part where you asked what to get if they go really marine heavy early and mid game, did he say to still mainly get zealot/sentry? And then like try to survive until the colossi are out? Or are the HT better in that situation?
Thanks.
Here's a tip, though: In your last game against Response, you had around 5-6 high templars BRIMMING with energy. Next time you play a T and you have the same situation, use the damn energy. ^_^ You waited so long and soon after Response EMPs every single on of them, where in the duration before that you could have stormed his entire army.

as always thanks for uploading
Thank you so much, cant wait to see this when we can download!!
Still trying to find some time to download the VODs and post them, sorry for the delay on this.

Thanks for uploading these vids (including the PvZ vid with incontrol).... I am new to this Team Liquid forum....(although I've played SC2 for awhile now) and I am pleasantly surprised at how friendly everyone is on here.
Keep the good work up!
Pretty interesting Khaladas, but the part 2 was removed! Can we see it otherwise?
I watched your PvP coaching session with Response too and i was wondering if we could download the replays of your games?
I'd like to see how Response did the builds (Korean 4-gate rush and 4-gate rush) because it looked really efficient!!
Thank you

Thanks for this. One thing I would recommend is to let him talk more. You frequently went on monologues or cut him off. Although you want to make it clear what your experience, I would just remember that in the end he's getting your money for what he tells you, so it is in your best interest to let him talk as much as you can.
Thanks for the vids tho.

Coool. Man, I wish I played the game well enough for lessons to make a difference. Actually, what level should a player be before he/she can truly benefit from lessons with someone like Response?
The guy in the video is a Silver/Gold player judging by his play. In any case, there is no minimum level. You probably want to be at a level where the mistake isn't something you could really easily correct yourself, for example, almost anything a Day9 Daily or Newbie Tuesday would help you correct. I think the perfect time to go for lessons if you are interested would be when you are no longer able to make corrections based on your replays and watching instructional videos, and feel like you need an expert's advice.
Alternatively, you could just work through it - as coaching is definitely not a must for getting good at SC2 or any game.

Well, you totally answered my question. Every skill I'm working on relates back to fundamentals. While the lesson prices are completely reasonable, I sure as hell don't want to spend my money just to hear, "make probes and pylons" and "spend your money". Besides, I've noticed at lower levels (some plat, def gold-bronze) the concept of "match-up" barely comes into play. I beat my opponents by having more sh!t and tech. Guess I gotta wait till diamond/masters.

Love these coaching videos. I am very glad that you kind folks are putting these coaching vids here. I am also getting coach, but my format is a bit different. If I find a way to share, I will share, too.
I am a terran and I am going to take that terran strat in your pvt and use the information in there to make my tvp better.
cheers.
If you one gate FE, I am going to try to punish you HARD.
1 Gate FE is done when the information you are given tells you "Yup go go you can hold it"
But it's pretty safe 1 gate FEing in almost every game. Just drop your chronos in different places.
