Hehe mondragon isn't just humble in interviews, he's constantly super insecure about losing to someone making up all kind of excuses like 'I have a bad hangover' or simply 'I suck'. So it isn't some kind of ploy, he just underrates himself massively

Reason he doesn't post on public forums is because he doesn't like the e-drama that these forums often consist of.

Mondragons interviews are filled with sarcasm and irony .. He you to feel like he's the underdog. Unfortunately no one believes what he says (referring to "I suck.. " etc) :D

I believe in that what Hotbid said. He doesnt want to produce any controversials or dramas. The same thing when you see interviews about him from wcg were he gives big credit towards the korean players and talks for example his victory over savior as small as possible when he is asked about it.

When he take the favorite roll for himself there would be a bunch of people who would say he is arrogant or he is disesteeming his enemys. Either way you cant please everyone. So as If I would be a player then I would choose the most comfortable way for me. For some its this underdog role for others to see themselves already in the final and to carry this also outside.

Even for Mondragon it wont be a walk in the park. Claiming something else is IMO more fanboy worship and exaggerating than true. There are also Protoss that are able to beat him bo 3. You saw loosing him vs JF bo 3 and that White_ra gave him also a hard time in the ladder stage.
