I would like something inbetween...

Like... 1 player may only play 2 games in a row.

Yes no allkill excitment but that way teams with *deep* lineups would have a better chance of doing good whiteout hurting the *big* names to much.

I would rather watch 1 dominant player rip through a team(Like Jaedong ripping through the whole Airforce ACE team!)! Instead of watching the not-so-known players playing!

Also, not knowing who could come out next for the teams after a loss is pretty exciting!

But this way a "bad" team could get carried by a dominant player, so it is not really rating the team as a whole, like the the traditional PL did.

havent decided yet, kinda hard to do liquibet with

It does bring more escitement to things like Lecaf vs ACE, since there will be a possible all Kill. I Really like the old proleague but this one is good too. I dont know...

and i voted traditional proleague, because there's too much one-sidedness in winner's league (3 kills for one side is pretty lopsided)

and i wish there was 2v2. action packed! maybe a bigger map pool for 2v2 would make it more interesting.

I think both formats are needed. I like both of them, though at the moment I'm leaning more towards all-kill just because it's fresh. I think opening every season with the old format, then switching to this one in the later rounds leading up to the grand finals is very exciting.

Even for the less popular teams, the winner's league format makes their games more exciting due to the All-Kill factor.

All this talk of "new format" - don't they do this every year? I seem to remember it from last year, at least. I was under the impression that it's just one of those events like Rival Battle which crop up regularly but by no means intends to replace the Proleague. Has there been another winner-advances type tournament in the past year or so? Why does this format seem familiar?

I voted WL because where else could you see + Show Spoiler +
(P)Anytime destroy Samsung KHAN, finishing with a rape of FBH
?
Seriously, I think WL favors the talented players over the workaholics.who practice a map (and sometimes player) dependant BO 15H/day for 1 week.
Because apart from dedicated snipers (who can provide exciting upsets, btw), the players have to practice on several maps and against all races.
And I think a lot of leeser known players can get air time too, as snipers or as match beginners, as the coaches (understandably) seem reluctant to send their Ace(s) straight away.
You are lucky I don't have a banhammer

I was looking forward to the WL and dodged this poll for a while so I could make my mind up.

I thought a mix would be good but for me I think I prefer the Trad prolegue, as a vod watcher I'm finding it impossible to watch without spoiling the result of every game by reading the filename of the next match.
