 Pusan. You need someone with some charisma, and Pusan really is a leader with that edgy attitude. As for protoss players on the team, the only other ones are fOru, Rage, and DaezanG. That whole race needs a face lift. Iris would be my second choice, replace a terran with a terran, and he is pretty badass too. | ||

Why ? Because ACE's lineup is not going to be able to compete against teams like Samsung in the long run anyway. The best they can do is to create the surprise. For that purpose, they need a high-potential player, but who hasn't accomplished much yet. A player able to snipe ace matches, and maybe get to a starleague final for the first time, wearing ACE colors. Sea is the most suited for this job. | ||

Iris for the following reasons: - He's lived and practiced with Savior. - He's a practice nut, and it rubs off on other players. - He's a nice and decent guy (from Blizzcon). - He's still hungry (look at his recent play). You could virtually say the exact same things about Sea (substitute Bisu for Savior). But Ace really needs someone who is strong in all matchups, and Iris is pretty strong across the board while Sea has had problems with his TvZ. Yes, it's still good, but you can't deny that it's a relative weakness. So this is what separates him from Sea: - Equally strong and knowledgeable in all matchups - Comes from CJ, known for their practice and habits (most like milatary) - Has experience of pressure OSL semis and OSL finals matches (in addition to Proleague experience, which both Sea and Iris have, where Sea has more "Ace" experience) Also, Iris is... - Older (20 vs 17) While this doesn't seem like a big deal, it probably is given the Korean bigger brother / little brother respect structure and hierarchy of Proteams. While I don't doubt Sea would earn the respect of his teammates and become a leader, Iris can more quickly and easily assume the leadership role as an "older" player. | ||

Iris is older, and you'll need to replace Boxer with a new "team captain". This unfortunately immediately disqualifies Sea. No matter how good Sea is, he still has trouble coping under his own pressure, think about how he will cope under team pressure. Furthermore, there could be some friction between the 25-26 year old players at ACE, and their 17 year old leader. The reason I chose Iris over GoRush (as GoRush is older, and could take the team captain place) is simply that Iris is still an up and coming player. Iris is still improving, while GoRush seems to be declining steadily. Sure, GoRush has done well recently, but I doubt he'll ever be at his peak again, while Iris is still heading for his peak. Pusan could be a choice, and as Mani mentioned, the boy has charisma and leadership qualities. Unfortunately his play isn't as steady as you'd like it to be. ACE is a team designed to gain some good publicity for the Airforce, and for that you need a captain that will reach the starleagues fairly regularly, or someone famous and influential like Boxer. Since none of the mentioned players could ever be Boxer, I'd have to go for reaching the starleagues. Yellow[arnc] is too much of a non-entity still. He hasn't truly done anything to distinguish himself from the crowd. Anytime would be my second choice (third is Pusan). Anytime is still young and dynamic, but he is also a mature and strong player. Being a protoss he could give the team a much needed protoss boost. All in all, I think he would be the second best choice for team captain. Finally, Iris is the closest player to Boxer. He is a strong but decent character that will most likely be able to gain the respect of his team mates without conflict. I think he would be a wonderful team captain. | ||

Second choice would probably be Pusan. I was going to go with him at first, but on second thought, I'd take Sea in a heartbeat if I actually had to make the decision. He'd probably be better accustomed to leading at first. I don't really have any reservations about his talent, but when compared to Sea it isn't much of a contest. | ||

How many times did Boxer beat sAviOr? That's right, NEVER. I bet Iris would take down Boxer in TvT also. That being besides the point, Iris would be a very good team leader. Very cool, very steady and calm. A mature person and a mature player, who has yet to prove potential, unlike the other poll options. Sea is simply too young to be captain - besides the age problem, there aren't any other drawbacks with Sea imo. | ||

Sea is good, but let's be honest he's still nowhere near Iris' level. Oh and I forgot to add, Air force ace don't need at leader, they just need strong players, that's all. | ||

I would pick GoRush from the list. he's an old school accomplished player with a sick reputation who keeps coming back with his A-game time and time again. he's also the oldest player of the list. Who was iris a year ago? Where will he be in a year from now? the same goes for sea. they're both far too young and inexperienced to lead a team. Anytime and pusan are relatively old players, but if anytime isn't on a tear, then he's nobody. pusan is the same, but without the accomplishments. As for yellow[arnc], i'm not even sure why he's on the list | ||
