Pusan, because hes played the field for quite some time, been a very successful captain, and is a solid player.

And unlike many others he actually stuck it out in a unsponsered team, and it payed off.

I also think someone like Rock would be a good trade.

Sea... He is so damn young and seems to have the most potential in the future... The other players seem to be near their peak right now... It's like trading for an up and coming footballer =)

That being besides the point, Iris would be a very good team leader. Very cool, very steady and calm. A mature person and a mature player, who has yet to prove potential, unlike the other poll options.

Sea is simply too young to be captain - besides the age problem, there aren't any other drawbacks with Sea imo.

If your replacing, go with another terran. Out of all the terrans there, IriS is the most well-rounded and experienced. He plays in major tournaments and did quite well in the OSL.

Though Sea is a close second, Sea doesn't have the well rounded edges. His TvT is godly yet he sometimes falls off in TvP.

Any good team needs a balanced player and that seems like it would be IriS

Pusan is living in the past. He may have leadership skills, but with an 11-11 record since the start of the year and most of his wins against players like Backho (which was not entirely convincing IMO), (P)

Kal (although fun to watch, 22% PVP), an out of shape intotherrainbow, frozean, (P)

HoOny, pepe and cool, he is just not anywhere near any of the other players in this poll. In fact, in order to go back to his last win against a dominant player, you have to go all the way back to January 20th when he beat (T)

GoRush, although not slumping as hard are just as much for sentimental value.

GoRush has a solid 17-17 record - 2-7 in his last 9 games (all against protoss) and benefitted from a terran (Z)

GoRush is certainly a solid player, but I wouldn't build a team around him.

Anytime is a decent 26-22 record, and is the better protoss to pick, but is still by far not the strongest player in the poll, and hasnt shown the necessary consistency to build a dynasty around.

Sea is a young player with lots of potential. He has a positive record in all matchups, hovering in the 60s - including a startling 27-14 record vs protoss. Even though he has arguably had some easy matchups, and has a less than stellar record vs dominant players this year, he is someone that will grow with time.

Iris has a 9-4 proleague record this season, a 9-5 record for the last OGN starleague (where he finished second by a slim margin) and is almost certainly the most dominant terran.

With the onset of sc2, it seems obvious that any serious team would choose (T)

Iris at almost any cost.

Boxer isn't just a good player, Boxer is the leader and the pillar of strength for his team. Having strong players doesn't mean a team will be successful. Look at SKT1 without Boxer, they are complete shit.

If they are trading away Boxer, they would definitely need a new and incredibly strong leader to hold the team together. The best choice from that list would probably be Pusan, he's the only pro on that list that comes close to having the charisma and leadership of Boxer and has had experience leading MBC (along with July) to success. Anytime and Gorush would probably be 2nd and 3rd on that list.

For pure skill and strength, however, I would go for Iris. He's definitely the strongest player on the list.

If you are looking for a power house to replace him, you would have to choose sea. Just look at his freaking record and you'll see why.
If you are looking to fill his spot as a leader, you would have to pick (P)

Pusan.

GoRush doesn't seem like a leader to me and (P)

Anytime is somewhat inconsistent.

i'd pick Iris because he's older than Sea, no other reason

Both of them would be strong additions to AirForce's weak lineup, and AirForce desperately needs some Terran presence. They have ONE (lol)terran if they trade Boxer away, so it has to be a terran that fills the hole.

Iris is a better choice than Sea (despite the fact that I prefer Sea as a player) because he's older and more accustomed to a rigorous training schedule already
