I use GOMplayer on my laptop and MPC on my main computer. I like GOMs feature of automaticly loading the next file in a series when the first one ends. Have VLC on both computers in case it fucks up ;e
I use foobar2000 for audio.

I use MPlayer for videos and am surprised more other people don't. For music, I use Winamp mostly out of inertia--these days it's bloated and no good, and I don't feel like finding another music player or an older 2.X version.

Gom only because of the added audio effects that WMC doesn't have, and because it can do full screen stretched which is kinda sexy. For music though, winamp obv.

MPC is the best video player ever. Maybe it can't read _EVERYTHING_ but you can read like 99% of the stuff and it takes like no CPU % so it's cool

I watch porn on GOM while listening to music on WMP at the same time. Winner.

As for whichever plays the most videos I'm not sure because I've found a couple videos GOM could play but VLC couldn't but I've also found some videos that VLC could play but not GOM. I like GOM more though.

I haven't updated VLC for awhile though so that might be it.

I voted itunes for audio

im using VLC for video (best for anime imho)

EDIT: Media Player Classic is nice too, MPC with VLC you can play whatever the fuck you want guaranteed.

When I'm fansubbing or watching anime I usually use a combination of Windows Media Player (with CCCP) and VLC player. When I'm watching movies or other video files I usually just use VLC. For music I use a specific old version of winamp.

Yeah, I use BSPlayer: I like the interface and I've yet to discover a file it didn't play. I still favor MPClassic, but can't it to work on my comp. (freezes every time I enter fullscreen)

VLC has a display lag, so sometimes when you skip around in the video it takes a while to get to where you want it to visually in a VOD. when the commentator skips around sometimes it does that too... GOM has the best layout ftw

Well I voted Winamp, but I also use Windows Media Player and VLC.
Windows Media Player to watch videos or movies and VLC if these videos don't work with WMP, and Winamp for music.

Windows Media Classic because of its small memory usage plus its fast for slow PCs.

I use the korean version of Gom player.

I haven't got a clue why, I completely forget why I initially downloaded the korean version (I think I needed it to.. play some file.. or something) but now I'm too lazy to change and I've figured out most of the stuff needed to use it -_-

Winamp for music all the way! I use both GOM and Windows Media Player Classic for watching anime; GOM sometimes has problems showing subs on *.mkv files I found o.O
