But in all honesty, it's early to say if the shift would make the game better or worse. For now I just loved that there were big changes, time will tell. One thing is sure: changes like these draw attention. I've almost not touched dota since TI3, now my curiosity is bringing me back again immediately. | ||

On the other side, I'm excited about the new and refreshing meta that's bound to arise from this. There were more massive changes than this in earlier versions and I'm sure icefrog has given some though into what is best for the game. Can't really comment more until I've seen/played some games on the patch. (I've barely touched doto since august since I'm rally busy with school but I'm sure that it's going to be super refreshing when I come back to playing more heavily in the winter) also, inb4 "omg this moba on SC site!!" comments. I remember when TL.net was about SC Shame that MOBA has a popularity that is growing. Hopefully the future will hold more for traditional RTS games and less team RPG games. | ||

BTW, I'd love more BW/Dota 2 polls instead of never-ending stream of SC2 polls. I was even thinking about removing the poll section entirely  | ||

On topic: The only thing that worries me a little is how jungling will work with the swapped camps. I like the fact that it forces jungle heroes to be closer to the lane and hence promotes them ganking (which pub heroes are worthless at). But I am worried that lane control will get even worse in pubs. Pro's will obviously work around it by tripple stacking or double cammp pulling so I like it for the pro scene. I can just imagine like a jungle skeleton king or some such garbage just clearing all the pull camps for solo xp. But I guess it's fair for off lane heroes to atleast be able to get xp. | ||
