Woaw, so many on Slayers, yes they're good, but not that good :O, as for MVP I really dont see them performing that well, but heh when you think about it IM never performed well even tho they've got the sickest line up ever, it's like they dont prepare for it or just get stressed out when they're playing for their team instead of for themselves, which I could understand, but when they'll get over it they should destroy everyone but Slayers imo, and I'd still give it to IM after a close match

Feels like everyone is neglecting the fact that Prime, NSH and TSL(ton of players left though) went really far last season. Voted for NSH, jjakji has proven to be really solid. With other players such as Seal, Sage and Tassadar the team seems really good in a teamleague.

The history of the GSTL is all about underdog teams coming out of nowhere and doing well. Korean superstars can't seem to be bothered with taking the GSTL seriously and this allows the more dedicated 'lesser' teams to claim the glory. Nobody could have predicted last season's semifinalists would consist of the depleted TSL, upstart NShoseo and one-trick-pony Prime. MVP and SlayerS both went from chumps to champs in the earlier season of GSTL as well.

All that being said I think MvP is gonna take it all this season. They haven't finished lower than 3rd in any of the last 4 teamleagues they participated in, winning 2 of them. They have the best combination of depth and racial balance of all the teams. If anyone thinks MvP are still just a one man team they need to pay more attention.

IM needs to stop underperforming in the GSTL, their individual stars needs to carry their team at critical moments more often, no excuses for a team of their quality. Any BW team that has two of the top 2 player in the world/rankings are also expected to win team league titles, no different here. NSH ad FXO will do well again I think. MVP can be the favorite if Genius and SC maintain their form along with DRG being the ace. Slayers Zerg and Protoss players need to step up if their team is to do well, but they have the ability to do so especially with MMA being the most reliable Ace/Closer there is.

I think that between IM and SlayerS, it will be very close but with SlayerS edging out in the end. They have been way too consistent and solid all around, not to mention entertaining. Gogo Slayers!

SlayerS? Don't forget EG.

JYP and PuMa played major roles in TSL's run in GSTL. PuMa only played in the first couple matches, but he got a considerable amount of kills...

JYP for zerg sniper, IdrA for terran sniper, PuMa for protoss sniper.

People doubted MVP last time and they did it
People doubted DongRaeGu in blizzard cup (he had less votes than "other") and he BARELY didn't do it
Keen all killed in IPLTL
DongRaeGu wasn't even needed in the play offs last year except for round 1

MVP got this no problem, doubly so if Noblesse decides to be a boss again
The road isn't always straight.

I picked MVP, they seem like a great well-rounded team.

Slayers feels too bloated for their own good and the best players of IM seem to be more focused in singles matches.

IM should take it as long as the coach puts out the right players, but DRG might just do his thing as he usually does in the team leagues.

NSHS crushed through the group stages and got all the way to the semi's last season with a totally unknown lineup. With a frontline of Jjakji and Sage together with a superb yet underhyped supporting cast, I think they'll go all the way this season.

I voted for IM, but on second thoughts, oGs/TL would probably do well as they have quite a few good players. (forGG, supernova, etc)

TSL hwaiting!!!

But I think that FXO has a really good shot.

GuMiho, Leenock, Lucky, asd, and Oz make up one of the most solid line-ups. I'm not sure how well they'll do against the big guns of other teams (MMA, DRG, IM's entire team) but I cannot imagine them losing any matches without putting up a solid fight.

IM is always weak here. They have strong single players, but not much of a team league success story.

Edit: Even though I don't like it, SlayerS will probably take it if their dominance of the last GSTL is any indication. They are only getting better.

Fantasy GSTL doesn't really work for this format because teams get eliminated too quickly.

MVP and Slayers are the two main favorites here. Both have a great line-up, and both have two GSTL monsters; MMA and DRG.
IM and FXO are probaly the next best options. (For IM, it will really depend if MVP and Nestea put some effort into this event).

My heart answer is IM. Realistically I don't see it happening tho. They lack snipers. MVP, SlayerS and NSH will be a lot better at sniping the other teams.

I think IM is ready to take it again.

Slayers has been nothing but terrans and more or less figured out, it's gonna be between IM and MVP this time.

I have a feeling the coach won't have downs syndrome this time and actually use legitimate rosters at all times, unlike last season.

Let's go IM!

My heart says oGsTL, but my head says either SlayerS, or MVP.

That, and why is Prime so low? They usually do pretty good in team league. I thought they'd be higher up on the poll.

IM if they play up to their players' potential in GSTL.

MVP team is so awesome though!

So hoping for one of these two

Because of the Curse of the GSTL, only four teams (IM, NSHS, Prime, and ZeNEX) actually have a chance-- that being said, IM will win of those four.

Errrrr SlayerS not that good? Ummmmm sir SlayerS last I checed they had MMA, Ganzi, Ryung, Boxer (ill be it on a downswing), Puzzle, Yugioh, Cella, and Clide all really super amazing players/programmers. So they do have the most talent of any team out there which is why they're more then "not that good".

I pick Startale. Why you may ask? Because of their incredibly childish awesome logo.

Plus they have a fun lineup that can win a lot of unexpected matches. Until they run into a great *vP player ST can go far.

SlayerS has the overall strongest roster imo. I can't see them losing to anyone other than maybe IM or maybe NSH. They had 6 players in code S this season and 4 in code A, and SlayerS is a team that really seems to have a team spirit and cohesion... and boxer ^_^

Picked SlayerS, but I think FXO is the underdog here. If they had a solid terran (I'm not impressed by Choya and Gumiho) they would be a top tier team, as they have Leenock and Oz, the most promising Zerg and the best Protoss at the moment.

SlayerS is just too solid, has the killer of giants in its team, and he feels like a fish in the water in this competition. Watch out for TaeJa and GanZI, too.

SlayerS has my vote, although MVP's best players are looking extremely strong right now and IM always has MVP/Nestea so it will probably come down to those 3.

I think either MVP or SlayerS, went with slayers since I prefer their lineup. IM and oGsTL both have sick player I love on their team, but for a team league I feel like especially MVP has a way better lineup.

Choya plays protoss, so obviously not a great terran (or maybe he is hiding it ? XD)

I know what you mean @Sylfire, I've missed so much starcraft I'm ashamed of myself. =(

Also, I just had an epiphany that the "Team Slayer" introduction voice in halo CE should be used at some point in the GSTL for a certain team I like.

Yeah, or at least that's how it's been in the past. Of course if they do field players, it will be based on internal rankings and whatnot so we might now see HerO. He's really dominant outside of KR, but that's mostly because he doesn't really play many Koreans in NA/EU. Within Kr though, oGs has some major powerhouses like MC and Supernova.

I think Slayers should be the favorites this season. Very solid Terran and Protoss lineups, and when Coca comes back, him and Taeja will be able to deal with Protosses very well. And of course, Slayers Boxer is the coach.
