If nestea can up his ZvT a little more he might take down MVP (it was pretty close last time, though the maps were slightly zerg favored -- also i'm excluding the carpel tunnel syndrome thing cus im sure most progamers are affected by stuff like that)

Almost. I can see him losing, but let's just say that I honestly expect MVP to wipe MMA and Blizzcon tournament. Anything less than him wiping will shock me, I say that honestly.

Its either gonna be MVP or Nestea. Nestea almost took a series off MVP, so I can't count Nestea out. If either of the two do not win Blizzcon it would be considered a huge upset loss. I cannot possibly imagine anyone else winning the whole thing.

MVP/NesTea should theoretically take it since they're sitting on a tier above everyone else but I feel Sen is close to that tier.

Belshir which is 14-17 favoring zerg so slightly zerg favored (even though NO map is going to be 50/50) Metalopolis is 30-24 favoring Terran. Day break 12-18 favoring zerg Taldarim 42-26 favoring terran Dual sight 30-27 favoring terran. I mean going by stats the maps were more "terran" favored but honestly I think the maps were all pretty balanced. sorry comments like this annoy me when the maps that are supposidly "zerg" favored in zvt are actually like even with a few games off on all those maps except for taldarim. Again just bugs me seeing posts that are incorrect (when technically 3 of the 5 maps are "slightly" favoring terran even though I would say they are just pretty balanced). The belshir beach statistic was before the newer update as that has the most games played btw before the changes to make it slightly less zerg favored. To the point of the poll the winner is probably MVP but I can see Nestea taking it to depending on their maps when they play (has blizzcon map pool been released? Will they have close positions?) those are pretty key things to know honestly. If say they have metalopolis and shattered in there and close positions enabled I would say MVP will win but if close positions aren't possible and the maps are good I can see it going either way. Can't wait though should be some epic games non the less ![]()

The first thing to note is that MVP has quite a bad wrist problem, in GSL he only has to play 1 set per day. This could become quite a large problem at Blizzcon. Nestea has said himself that he works by analysing a player and preparing for him, again this isnt as possible at Blizzcon. EDIT: And of course jetlag and travelling etc. Nestea hasnt left korea for a tournament before AFAIK

very close next comes nestea who is just as good but i feel like nestea has bigger chances of dropping games along the way (mainly cause of zvz being more luckbased than tvt. and i do feel the overall representation of zerg here are very good zvz players who probably know exactly how to abuse nestea to the fullest. its just so tough to play zvz where you dont know your opponents playstyle while your opponent knows yours) naniwa comes 3rd for me depending on if he gets nervous or chokes etc, but he said to me he doesnt get that anymore. hes just simply a powerhouse nowadays owning face in practice. i think he was the best foreigner when he went to korea, and i dont see a reason why he wouldnt be the best one still. i dont judge a players skill based off of results at all so its just simply my opinion no facts ) the 4th goes to ret but for him he just needs to keep his flow and luck going because his mentality and mechanics are remarkable but i feel like he tends to lose abit too often because he wants to live on the edge with his massive drone production and being fearless (mainly why he needs to have luck on his side). ret actually just destroys people if he gets early game advantage and i rarely see him drop the ball :D but some of the other guys in the bracket for example sen, dimaga or bratok could very likely take down these guys i listed above too. so i think its gonna be hard to predict who will win but mvp nestea and naniwa has the biggest chances in my book, these are also the ones i personally will be cheering for aswell

Y'know crossfire was widely regarded as a bad map for zerg in the beginning too. The stats, however, say the complete opposite. In fact, that was MVP's veto in the series. Surprised people were wondering what MVP veto'd, aside from Bel'shir I thought the choice would obviously be crossfire.

How is MVP doing it with all the traveling? Hes gonna play GSL final in 15hours and then directly drive to the airport, fly to California and go straight to his game for blizzcon? I havent checked times , but is this even possible? :D Dude GSL final is at blizzcon.
