Last Dreamhack (the mini-tournament and Dreamhack Winter) were hallmarked by incredible stream quality and production values. Hoping to see the same again and have another awesome eSports weekend of watching tons of Starcraft. If I get to watch a ton of the best players in the world slogging it out on a silky-smooth stream, I am one happy camper.

Only sad thing is that TLO won't be playing :C

Player pool and Broadcast quality (part of it is who´s the caster), hard to decide.
Money almost does not matter.

Take a look at ShoutCraft 1-day Invitational, only 1500dollar but 8 of EU´s best players and (imo) one of the best casters.
9-10 hours enormous amounts of viewers, very long time over 19k.

5 Streams are nice, but I believe the same amount of people will tune in if there is only the day9+apollo and perhaps a second one (TB for me). Many of course will have several streams open, good for sponsors/ads.

Such a weird way of posing the question :D ...

My brain was thinking a long the lines of "excited about Dreamhack?" and expecting poll answers such as "Very excited!", "Dying with anticipation", "Fairly hyped".

I think you might want to change the title of the poll to "Excited about Dreamhack ..."
I am not sure what to say

weird question....... i am excited for the broadcast quality since production is a lot better

Question is worded badly.

There should be an option for all of the above, and the question should be what are you most excited about.

Anyway... the quality of the show and the player pool are obviously the two biggest draws.

How come you don't have "2GD" as an answer?

Anyway, I'm still disappointed that they couldn't get Nestea and MVP but I still think that this is the most prestigeous SC2 tournament to date. And I think that it will be much harder for the Koreans to dominate this time.

Specifically for DreamHack I'm mostly excited about the quality as I know I'm in for a treat when it comes to production value an caster quality.
I've seen all the players before, but not on a butter smooth HD stream \ (^_^) /

Well that is a mean pool right there. Took such a long time to pick which is going to be the best. Although i am looking forward to everything up there, i have to say that the players are what has me the most excited!

Personally i'm excited by the playerpool AND the 5 streams, because having tons of great players sure is exciting, but i remember having missed mcs games at mlg and that made me a sad panda

Being able to chose who you watch is the greatest thing that could happen to such a big tournament like dreamhack ! <3

Quake Live Team Deathmatch will be epic! There hasn't been a quake tdm tourney with this many great players in years.

For those of you who are foreign to Quake, check it out on your SC2 down time. It's really fasted paced and requires insane reflex skills (micro for you rtsers). Much faster than anything you might have experienced with CoD, CS, or Halo.

I voted Other, because this will be the first time in a year that we get to see North American League of Legends teams in person. That scene isn't as developed yet so I feel there is more riding on the Dreamhack championship there than in the Starcraft tournament.

I'm excited for it for the fact of its wildly large ESPORTS eventess. I'm disipointed it didn't take into account all the other games that are going to be played there like the Lol season 1 championship for $100,000 prize purse total. HON quake CS SSF4 its going to be an amazing weekend.

I think the quality of the tournament itself is the best. Even if it was for no money or had bad players, the production dreamhack does is amazing.

I think some people have misunderstood or oversold this five streams thing. I mean it's like last time afaik. Some random streams in open bracket and 2 more official ones. Did everyone forget the "scandal" about the glhf stream from dh last time?

evidently i was on site during the winter event so i cant speak for the streams then, but this time it will be 4 streams covering the tournament (2 of them on-site being TB & TLO + day9 and apollo) and then 1 stream covering byoc tournament.
also the "scandal" wasnt that on assembly or what are you referring to?

I'm surprised the prize pool is so low on the list in the voting. I guess it goes to show that quality production and running of tournaments is more important than the money. MLG does well for itself with a smaller prize pool, too. (Granted it's still a huge pool.)

definitely player pool. There's nothing more exciting than seeing these giants of the SC2 community go head to head for a large amount of money at stake, plus the ego's.

Personally I think the wording of the poll is poor. "Excited about DreamHack?" attributes itself to the poll Yes/No. "What part of DreamHack are you most excited about?" seems more fitting.

Dreamhack is miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiles ahead of MLG in every aspect possible. More streams, more games, AMAZING producition value, NO COMMERCIALS (!), and better player pool (IMO).

Dreamhack is showing who's boss.

I feel the whole five streams thing is overrated. Even if I had the bandwidth to watch them all, which I don't, there are only so many games I can follow at a time, and number possibly greater than 2, but definitely less than 5. That, and given for casters alone, I'd rather have MLG's two streams than these five. I have to mute half the DH streams whereas with MLG I was torn over which duo to listen to.

Poor wording of the question, I chose player pool despite no MKP, should be fines for dropping out unless an exceptional excuse given
"1 base. Cheese man." - MKP. "[MVP] is not stylistic, his style is winning, which is the style you want to have." - Artosis
