Best option for me would be GMT, like many other said everyone know his time in GMT +/-X | ||

Yep: Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific times. Also some outlining areas might use different times zones. For example Newfoundland a province in Canada uses NST which is 30 minutes ahead of Eastern. | ||
