I was just wondering if it would be possible to include some more calendar settings:
1. Calendar being set to the local user timezone (thus displaying date and time according to user settings). Would be much easier to track events (especially if you're offset from TL.net time by quite a few hours).
2. Settings for events being displayed (to not display some of them, like turning on/off all SC2 or all BW events - to avoid confusion).
3. Perhaps the ability to add marks/reminders to the calendar (receiving a PM at some time prior to the marked event, date on calendar displaying in bright red for it etc.).
What do you guys think about it?

I think it'd be nice to have a system where users can submit an event to a group of people to acceptance/rejection rather than having to contact specific people to get the event listed. As it is now, it's fine, but sometimes it's difficult to find someone to list the event.

I was about to make a post about the exact same thing... so yeah I think this feature is really a must have, especially point #1. time conversion is painful and I believe this could easily be implemented.

Would be a nice function to have, because right now the calender is full of useless events for me, since the only thing I want to watch are SPL, MSL, OSL and GSL and not any of the other stuff that's up there.

Yeah me likes
point1 .I never bother wth time conversion and when i do im always paranoid that i got it wrong. I have to click on link and see how much TIME is left before vent starts. Point 2 im neutral about it cause i watch both but i guess i understand. Point 3 I think thats too much of a hassle for the website.

#2 would be extremely useful, there's too much clutter with 75%+ sc2 events

Dear mods,
If it is difficult to implement those changes, might you just add [SC2] or [BW] tags at the start of the event names, so that people can easily distinguish BW and SC2 events ?
Something like this :
[BW] OSL round of 16 [SC2] GSL round of 32

Well pretty much all BW events have tags [OSL],[MSL] and [SPL], and only a few SC2 events trying to stick out from the rest of the flock. (ESL and FXOpen)
As for calendar improvements, the ability to hide an event that you don't want to see would be amazing.

I really like the first suggestion, i was thinking about suggesting the same thing the other day. while its not to hard to figure out how long it will be until an event will take place, it would still be very nice for it to be displayed in my local timezone when loged it. It could save a few minutes and make me way more confident about when i need to wake up to watch my favorite tournaments. All in all great suggestion, hope to see them implemented at some point.

Can I pinch in the idea of splitting the text in the hint in multiple lines? If every line starts with a tag [GSL] [OSL] ... then it is much much easier to read. Maybe it needs a custom javascript popup hint style thing for that to work, but it would seriously improve readability.
