This will finally give us a chance to see how a formidable group of koreans fairs against an equally formidable group of foreigners, as compared to a few koreans with a TON of foreigners and vice-versa.

then i thought "WOOTz" all the koreans participating i kinda cool until i realized im not sure that the koreans/asians can really play at 100% because of the lag US<>EU<>KR<>US (i experienced this 1st hand when casting the games of the kaspersky new years invitational. MC vs TOP for example) so im going with the tyler video - even tho its only my 3rd choice - its still the one i've choosen and its awesome ![]() gj on that

That guy was arguably the best bw foreigner before Idra spent some time in Korea and seeing him disappear from sc2 after a while was pretty sad. Now that he comes back, I can't wait to watch his games. Very excited about this.

I'm not too happy at all about Korean "invites" really. I can see how it adds quality to the tournament, but I'll be sad if one of them ends up winning it. Unless it's Nada somehow. =D

Money is great, but actually 34500$ for SC2 is not as impressive as the 23000$ for BW (tsl2). Tyler's teaser is nice, but can't compare it with the comeback of the Zerg foreign legend that Mondi is. 13 Korea invites could become the most exciting if Boxer is invited. TL sending an invite to Boxer, wow that must be the wildest dream of any TL staff, and it could become true right now.

Also I think it helps making the tournement really legit. Price pool doesn't really matter imho. Ofcourse the bigger pricepool, the more is "on the line", but I believe they coulda had half the pricepool, and spend it on like quality streaming, maybe some live audience etc (not saying the streaming wont be good, just speaking out of experience). Simply put, I'm more entertained by seeing great games, than hearing about a huge pricepool ![]()

He was definitely my favorite foreign zerg (I would've said player but that goes to Noony). 3100 rating is solid. But Mondragon is one of those players with infinite potential. He also has connections with some of the best SC2 players at the moment (off the top of my head - Ret and Haypro). If he takes advantage of his resources, I have no doubt that he will be a serious contender.
