Bo 13 Jaedong vs. Flash.
I'll pass, and obviously we are gonna have a PvP OSL finals

BBS into win and then BBS into silly loss because he scouted a zergling all-in but then decides to make goliaths instead? Silly Light, goliaths are for... uh, Flash? Anyway, game 3 was pretty one-sided, and damn Jaedong is scary. I'm on the side that says Light didn't make any real blunders (army control could have been slightly better, such as when he went to attack Jaedong's fourth at bottom right. He cornered himself trying to take out the hatchery instead of going up the ramp after the Lurkers came down, and that probably would have caused Jaedong a bit more stress) but otherwise it was pretty much just snap defense by Jaedong into overwhelming advantage. Oh yeah, and the not-canceled CC was pretty much just embarrassing. Either way, Light vs Jaedong in MSL just got a bit more interesting. Will Jaedong 5pool on Game 1, Polaris Rhapsody? Who knows.
Oh yeah, and EffOrt looked really meh against Pure. Disregarding Set 2, Pure didn't play that well (and that's partially because of EffOrt failing) and the other sets were just very one-sided. Still, EffOrt vs Jaedong in WCG semifinals will be something to watch out for.
Looking forward to Flash-Fantasy, and not really Bisu-Kal. Yeah EffOrt seemed to be playing in second gear against Pure. Of course, that's all it took, but Game Two was one of those games where a player gets a step behind their opponent, and they're always just a second too slow. EffOrt missed pretty much everything with his scourge that game. Good thing he guessed completely correctly in the third set, although I think he probably would've won it anyway. EffOrt's just better. Jaedong as well, the third set was really really impressive. They're going to play a neat series.

Too much shit going on. Hard to figure out whether to feel optimistic that both JD and Flash are playing beastly. Or pessimistic that the schedule will finally get to them. And at such a moment that they make a few silly mistakes and lose.

Looking forward to Flash-Fantasy, and not really Bisu-Kal. Oh man watching that third game of light vs jaedong. Wow Jaedong was playing like a monster. That is the Jaedong I remember just wow that game was fun to watch :D
During that game Jaedong gave me a feeling
it's a feeling GGPlay would give me when he entered late-game
the kind of feeling that, you know no matter what Light would throw at him Jaedong would still come out victorious, JD had not made me feel like that about his play for a really long time and I hope it lasts.

The idea that Flash has been ''solved'' and that ''other Terrans know how to beat him'' seems more and more hilarious for every game he plays. XD Fantasy is gonna have to do something really funky if he wants to take him down later today.
And fucking fuck yeah, new win-streak record! :D
|
"Then again, how can you solve something that is unsolvable?"
|
Flash's 'slump' is so decidedly over it isn't funny. he's on a 13 game win streak heading into the MSL semifinal tonight against the player he just beat four hours previously. not to even mention that that slump was only in one matchup.
|
And, if he 3-0's fantasy, he'll have tied Gorush's winstreak record. Let's see just how record breaking Flash can be.
|
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Just recall when Flash was up 2-0 against Effort in the OSL final...
|
There never was a slump. Not a real one anyway. Flash's skill never dropped. It's quite common for top players to lose a bunch of games after winning a Starleague. They get focused on their SL games and on training to play specific match-ups on specific maps, training to take down specific opponents, and on top of that they end up revealing their timings and their builds.

STX masters doesn't count in standard leagues in the TLPD.

STX master's doesn't count, silly.

It's moot now because of Flash vs. Fantasy, but I don't even care that Flash lost because holy fuck this is an awesome TvT series.

Yeah it's awesome! To bad you get a little numb because its too much the same day. If these games where spread out over a week it would have been amazing imo. Also I don't have time to watch them all :/

+ Show Spoiler +not sure that's yet earned. today he got eliminated from both leagues he was in. still a lot of other people who might impress over the next ten days, including sea, stork, light, effort, etc. but it was a very well-played series.

Definitely one of the best Bo5's I've ever seen. Fuck TvT haters, that was great!
And once again Flash reaches a final. XD Imba!

At the very least it should shut up all the haters that say Fantasy is mentally weak/gets shaken easily in series play. Pulling out play like that after being down 0-4 to the best player in the world in a single day, especially after the way he lost his first game in the MSL series, is something to take note of.

Heh, Flash has now reached 3 consecutive MSL finals, 2 (soon to be 3???) consecutive OSL finals, the WL final and the PL final. What a year Flash is having.
