Why is everyone taking PR so seriously? Why do most ppl believe their opinions are important and that it somehow affects the korean esports scene. Do any of you honestly believes that Flash or JD give any importance whatsoever to a rank on the internet? Like, really? Some posters here need to calm down about the Flash/JD positions in PR, it won't affect your life in any way shape or form if one or the other is 1st. I remember when PR's were something to which you would debate, exchange opinions and have a laugh at the odd fanatic, seems today almost everyone is a fanatic in their " cause ". True fans, in my opinion, would realize that Flash, JD and the rest of the other programmers don't care about such things, they hardly even care about KeSpA rankings, let alone some random rank on the internet, which I am almost sure wasn't intended to be a place where ppl would show their selfishness. You, fanatics, only care that you are right and the ones that have different opinions are wrong, nothing more then selfish ppl that want to be right so they can probably sleep better at night reassured by their victory on the internet against someone they will never know anything about.
Congrats.

I will admit in general you did speak good things about Jaedong but they were all truths everyone could already see at that time .Ofc could have just not written that article so I have to give you some credit for that but somewhere near the end you say " As TL's #1 Jaedong anti-fan"
And I think TL's #1 Jaedong anti-fan may have taken some biased decisions.

Man you're a broken record. You refuse to believe that it's possible that someone could disagree with you on the rankings without being tainted with bias. Get over it.

It's not like it's ungrounded though. This PR must have been the most criticized one ever, by far. Only the most hardcore Flash fans found it reasonable (and alot of them found it unreasonable). And I don't think you can compare it to Savior staying at #1 because he had a total of 12 - 8 that month beating Iris, Midas, Nada, Hwasin and Much. Flash didn't even have a wining record against opponents that were no where near as impressive as the ones Svior faced. Flash should have been no where near #1 this month and he certainly doesn't belong there on the next PR too after some shaky losses to Light and Effort.

I might be biased (I love Jaedong), but I will never argue for some one that doesn't even have a winning record to be #1 on the PR, atleast not after having played fourteen games that month.

You don't get why people call out some one who said about Effort that: "he just keeps using dirty tactics and getting lucky" as being biased?? I like the effort Plexa puts into these rankings he is very nice guy and for the most part his rankings are really good. But he is very unfair towards Jaedong. You know this, every one knows this, but as long as he keeps your favorit player on top of the ranking you're happy.

Flash is 9-8 since the finals against JD. In the same time JD has gone 22-5. He has had tougher opponents but then again he has lost to all good players he has been playing this time (except for Kal and maybe Violet). Jaedong has wins over Kal, Sea, Zero, Stats and Baby (pre-slump).
"To all eSports fans, I want to be remembered as a progamer who can make something out of nothing, and someone who always does his best. I think that is the right way of living, and I'm always doing my best to follow that." - Jaedong. /watch?v=jfghAzJqAp0

I think we should ask ourselves is Flash really the second best player in the world right now?The trio(Fantasy,Bisu,Effort) should be above him in my oppinion. When was the last time he proved himself against a strong player? It was in the MSL final which was a long time ago (more than 2 months).I don`t think wins against Violet in a match everyone knew how will finish proves something. On the other hand the trio is very very consistent and puts up incredible performances. The resent best games i remember were all their fault (+JD),Flash did not pertisipate in a great game for a long time, the only wins he pulls right now are some wins against turn,s2,classic and violet which surely are not enough to rank him second.Yeah he hasn`t lost an important game so far you would argue, but rank is about performance and he is not showing what is worth of N2,let alone N1.I would rank him no higher than 5.

the feeling is flash has become a sleeping giant that lost in "unimportant games " while this may be true or not
its not a reason to rob jaedong his rightful place
and funny how all the broken record comments accusation are coming from kt fans
(i'm biased my self i admit ) butbi'd like to hear a reason why flash should be number 1 cause in all the comments its why jaedong should
and dont dare use the dual league case which was 3 month ago
i say we dust off and nuke it from orbit

Clearly Fantasy should be #1. While "only" 8-5 this month, let's analyze his losses:

vs JangBi -- didn't matter as he won the final game and qualified for the MSL.
vs sKyHigh (x2) -- didn't matter since SKTT1 won the series anyway. And it was TvT vs sKyHigh. You could say that he took two for the team, earning him extra credit for the PR.
vs Hydra -- didn't matter (as above). Besides, anyone loses random games to cheesy zergs once in a while; you can't fault him for that.
vs Stork -- irrelevant, as it's Stork.

Now add the fact that Fantasy easily advanced in the MSL against a compet... unpredictable opponent, probably will advance in the OSL (despite the minor setback against Stork), and that he HUMILIATED Effort, Hiya and Baby (all recent Flash slayers). This should all be added to his stellar performance in June, of course, combined with the Oovarian, Boxeresque brilliance he demonstrates in all his games.

This evidently places Fantasy ahead of Effort and Flash, but what about Jaedong? Well, we saw what happened in the Proleague grand finals last year. Important games are coming up, and this is where Fantasy really starts to deliver. Meanwhile, Jaedong has been showing some signs of weakness recently with his lost game to Kal and of course the dual Proleague loss against SKTT1 that robbed OZ of any playoff chances. Besides, Jaedong has been winning so many games recently that he will have to start losing more, and it will hurt him when it happens in important games.

There is no doubt in my mind that Fantasy will clutch it up in upcoming games, while Jaedong's position is more questionable. Even if Jaedong does well in the individual leagues, it is Fantasy who will be playing on the largest stage of progaming (the Proleague grand finals) after defeating STX. Like training matches, Jaedong's games in the MSL and OSL (assuming that he even wins the next ones) can't be used to gauge whether he would perform in the Proleague playoffs because this is just hypothetical, and the PR can't be based on hypotheses and wild speculation.

Hahaha how do 3 PL playoff games not matter. They lost the first day vs CJ and were taken to ace match in their two wins because of Fantasy losing the regular game everytime.

My guess is that he's trying to start controversy so we will reach 1000 posts.

After tonight's OSL, tomorrow's PL AND MSL we should definitely have enough posts to make it to 1000, easily.

Flash still has to qualify MSL to secure #1 but that seems pretty likely.

I think Violet showed us his approach to the series in Game 1. He has no intention of beating Flash.

JD really dropped the ball there. If Flash can just spank Violet then I wouldn't mind seeing him as #1 yet another month.

Lol look at all the KT's XD

I still think JD can still be argued as number 1 :D 19-5 since may :p which is pretty baller with all his losses coming from good players (with the exception of s2 >:| ). Besides... its not like he's eliminated from the OSL or anything :p just lost because he was cocky, and Sea proved he is the number 2 (or 3) terran

Besides... we saw what happens when JD and Sea play standard, after JD won in proleague which is Sea's most comfortable environment.

And finally (and someone is gonna tear me down for this) Who has Flash really played and beat these last two months besides Zero? Check it out O.o I mean... 1 loss in the OSL from overconfidence is gonna put Flash ahead? >.>

Jaedong also played incredibly sloppily vs Kal in the MSL. If Flash is doing better than JD in both MSL and OSL then why shouldn't he be above? also I think the big issue is that JD just lost a ZvT in pretty sad fashion on the best ZvT map around.

It's more about Flash not really doing much to lose his spot (if he wins against Violet he will have won all of his Ro16 games), and no one else being solid enough to take it from him than him doing anything remarkable though.
