SC2 will be exciting at first because it's a new game with shiny graphics and shiny new units. Once that novelty wears off, I'm fairly certain people will be dying to watch SC again. Of course, nobody knows for sure what's gonna happen in Korea with regards to live SC2, but unless Blizzard makes some massive changes to the game for the sole purpose of making it more exciting to watch, I doubt it will replace SC in the OSL entirely. While Blizzard might consider these changes later on, it will be, without a doubt, with an expansion that they can use to profit from them, which probably won't be for at least another 2 years (6 OSLs). | ||
