I really like both mondi and JF, but if JF beats nony he's got two PvZs that are going to be hell for him. If mondi beats Sen, I think NonY can take out mondi with ease.

As for Nony, assuming he beats JF, he has a decent chance because his PvZ is quite good. Unfortunately for Nony, both Mondragon and Sen are very good at ZvP, so it's not going to be easy by any means. Mondragon vs. Sen is hard to call. Both have good ZvZ, and Sen proved that he has enough game sense to beat Ret. Normally that'd make him my favorite, but Mondragon has shown that he's in top shape, so it's a toss-up. Let's assign some numbers to it. Nony vs. JF: 60% Nony, 40% JF JF vs. Sen/Mondragon: JF 40%, Sen/Mondragon 60% Mondragon vs. Sen: 50% Mondragon, 50% Sen Nony vs. Mondragon/Sen: 50% Nony, 50% Mondragon/Sen Chance of Nony winning: 0.6 * 0.5 = 0.3 = 30% Chance of Mondragon winning: 0.5 * (0.6 * 0.5 + 0.4 * 0.6) = 27% Chance of Sen winning: 0.5 * (0.6 * 0.5 + 0.4 * 0.6) = 27% Chance of JF winning: 0.4 * 0.4 = 16% As you can see, Nony is the favorite under these assumptions.

In the lead-up to TSL, Draco's PvZ looked pretty damn good. He beat Ret, he beat Kolll, he took a game off Mondragon. Then, bam, 3-0 into retirement.

According to JF's interview, he beat Terran and White-ra with one or two days of practice before the match. I'm not saying he's currently stronger than NonY, but he'll have more time to practice for this upcoming match.

So this will be hard to predict since everyone is rly good atm. Sen if he got his z-skills back he can be really hard to beat i guess. Mondragon always gives surprises, and NonY hes just NonY so that explains it.

If mondis ZvP is as good as it used to be.. we cann see everything from a 3-0 to a 2-3 loss vs nony.. I dont think it really matters for the quality if mondi or sen advance.. both of them will give nony a hard fight.. Id say Nony vs Seny AND Nony vs Mondi are all something like 50/50 or maybe 60/40 ...

Hats off to Mondragon. Didnt think he'd do it. What a champion. I hope we'll get a nervewrecking final, like the Smuft vs Mondragon final in TLT1 back in 2003.

I'm asking myself right the same thing about the people predicting 4-0 / 4-1 / 4-2 for Nony. If he's lucky he can win 4-3 but honestly.. Mondragon's gonna take this. Apart from his top notch ZvP and excellent understanding of the matchup - he's even very good the other way around(PvZ) - iirc he also has a very good record against Nony in particular, but since the foreign scene doesn't have a comprehensive database to keep track of this there's not way for me to confirm this except my own memory. At least I haven't seen Mondragon ever losing a BoX vs. Nony, but I may be horribly wrong on that. Please correct me if that should be the case. Additionally as has been mentioned on multiple occasions Mondragon is a "mind player" using lots of diverse, ingenious and creative strategies which gives him an advantage that scales with the number behind the BoX.
