Minor difference in response time (CRT is faster than LCD) - LCD seems to catch up lately, but even I can feel the difference (my new comp came with an LCD monitor, I can carry it around easier anyway), and I'm pretty far from a progamer ^^ - must be huge for them, even if they would have the newest LCD stuff.

This was the only video I saw where it was LCD.

This was the only video I saw where it was LCD. Its a mixture of refresh rates, brightness, contrast, response time + i'm sure you've noticed that LCD/TFT monitors don't work from certain angles, this is becoming less of a problem now though.

I agree on all of that, but actually response time is faster nowadays and usually it's a problem for FPSes, at least for all I know. And the blurring of the screen from some angles is only a problem for someone else watching from that angle, IMHO.

No, not only when someone else is watching from a big angle, sometimes you can see that in the corners aswell. Anyway there are pro's and con's to owning either a CRT or a TFT/LCD.
