Xmas 2v2 Tournament Details

The tournament is now over!! Congrats to WestYanLand and it's players Yan and Westside1!! The replays for this tournament can be fuond here.
The TeamLiquid 2v2 Xmas Tournament is under 24 hours away! And that means you guys need all the details about the tournament. Don't forget, the winning team will receive a $50 cash prize!! There was a bug in Empathy which sometimes caused probes to pop out the other side of the Assimilator in the mains (12 and 6). You can download the updated map here or then entire map pack here.
Post Game Procedure
Once the series is over, the winning team is required to send ALL replays from the series to tslplayers@gmail.com with the subject "your team name" "score". e.g. [Hindsight]20/20 2-1. No replays = No advance. Once the replays have been received we can then proceed with the tournament.

All Teams are to meet up at 2pm EST tomorrow (4am KST, 8pm CET) in their assigned channel on iCCup..

Yay we made it past the round of 64! Go team!
EDIT: Also the first game on Empathy I ever played involved the probe bug and I had to put like seven probes on gas and it reallllly pissed me off.
EDIT: And fuck, that's the farthest we'll get since apparently gheddo went B- on iccup 2v2 before :/

I'd like to ask everyone who has even the slightest experience with Binary Beast to provide as much input as you'd like about the website. Have you hosted a tournament? Participated in one? Or have you just browsed the website? Regardless of how you've used Binary Beast, we want to hear from you.
Would you like a new function added? Different Layout? Modified reporting system? Any feedback from the community is really a big help. Regardless of how insignificant it seems. Even a simple thanks is nice.
Every suggestion will be considered by the Binary Beast development team. We want to make Binary Beast as functional as the gaming community needs/wants, while remaining easy to use. Even small ideas are more than welcome. We'd even like to know what colors you'd prefer.
Please PM me with any thoughts you have about Binary Beast.

Lots of skill differential. We got utterly crushed by people who knew what they were doing a lot more than we did. eg had builds specifically tailored to the 2 geysers in the main and thus had a crapton more mutas than us. Yep yep, I learned a lot about how to play 2v2 the past few days. It is actually really helpful in the 1v1s I've played too, I can see why people like Bisu who was originally a 2v2 player iirc can go on to dominate the 1v1 scene.

I liked it but if possible you should fix the pathing issues caused by the tiny ramp. For example, if you start at 12/left, your units will try to walk down the small ramp if you rally them towards the enemy.. Which is a problem since metal can't fit down the ramp!
Maybe have the main chokepoint be perfectly in the center of the base?

We should have 2on2 tourneys more often
And I liked Empathy. It's different, it's new and you can easily help your ally. Can't say much about the balance, as at my level skilldifference>>mapimbalance. The backentrances to the main are a fun element too.
