I'm sorry if this sounds mean, but I really can't stand the voice of the second commentator . Chill's voice is cool and works well, but for some reason that other guy sounds like he has a gay lisp and just kinda :\. It grates on my nerves...

couldnt nony flank that first pressure army? So he wou;dnt have to attack up-hill. He could even wait untill Brat was going into the sweet spot, so brats tanks would be out of position even more.
Brat played this very well! Maybe it was the build but I have not seen any oportunity for nony to win this Hope to see more than one more game! But Brat has to take the 3rd place, no matter what!
had nony dropped his reaver at brat's nat he could've done tons of damage. seems to me nony is playing really rash. dunno, he's obviously very very good, unfortunate string of events.

God every time Nony does a good attack he always just throws his units in the end WTF. Its like he goes way up in the beginning then just carelessly loses his entire army during the second half of every attack.
It looked like Brat was screwed at one point, after that shock attack by Nony. Then I dunno if Nony took his eye off his troops or what but somehow a couple of vultures repel the remains of the army and he comes back, unbelievable.
Why doesn't nony ever get arbiters? He could have recalled so many times in the last time when he was under pressure. His unitmix seemed so off with like only 1 or 2 HTs when he was at 150 pop..
Wow at game 4... amazing, simply amazing... I feel sad that BRAT_OK isnt in finals, his aggressive style is sooo damn entertaining to watch. Congrats with 3rd place, you have a fan for TSL season 2 for sure!

Think this match really highlighted the difference in skill between Nony and JF. JF completely dominated on Wuthering, showing some ridiculous good map sense and troop movement. Nony on the other hand just spammed gateways and tried to brute force it. -_-
I mean look at the difference in map vision that JF had compared to Nony. Always had pickets of observers set up, macroed up very strong, kept up steady reaver harassment, and then used great storm placement in games. Nony, on the other hand, just seemed to rally attack-move into Brat's base over and over. While Brat's vults basically had every single expo mined up....

I'm pretty sure the stats are from professional matches, not TSL. Although I could be wrong because that's a pretty good explanation.
Brat was never ever behind in game 4. He lost his army but so did Nony. He was a 6-fact-terran defending vs what? 4 goons and some almost-dead zealots? Please. Every toss who knows PvT would know that if he didn't do damage to the economy at that point, the game was lost.

the stats were massively off some of the time, one map had TvZ 1-0 33%, so i just assumed they were typos

As Chill pointed out...Nony is "too human". I guess one has to be some sort of a robot to be in top 3. That only shows the high level the TSL pushes it's players! Sad to see Nony lose again, happy to know a P will take the prize for sure ! Great stuff !

I think Nony would have been fine in game 4 if instead of attempting to go for the kill after the first big battle, he regathered his forces, expanded, and checked for expansions by Brat. He bled so much by trying to drive into the natural, when he didn't have to.
Nony's HTs were soooooo damn late in the last game, he spend most of the time using only speedlots and goons, there is no fcuking way you can break 130-140 terran only with goons and zealots...
Brat_OK has really good game sense and his mine laying was imba. I cringed when I saw that army run into a huge minefield and you see a goon pop and a bunch of zealots go up in blue flames. Kind of like this but to less effect:

I have to say, that was an amazing series. Especially the fourth game, nony was really playing a mind-game with him, just waiting for his usual fast push...but it never happened.
Brat is damn good TvP. I wonder what of his MUs that is keeping him from owning in russian tournaments. Probably his TvT as Russia has tons of good terrans.
