That can't ever be balanced... I predict 8-10 minute T>Zs; not enough mutas or lurks possible. Hello. You must be new. Let me tell you about a map called Nostalgia. This is one of the greatest maps of all time and had, gasp, only one geyser between main and nat. Well that's an old map, gameplay has evolved. They didn't create maps like that in a long time. With good reason... I can't see Z winning against T on a map like this in today's pro scene (with the exception of cheese/ling all-in or highly risky hidden expansions). What do you want to do with just 1 gas? You need 2 for lurkers and mutas and 3 for defilers and ultras (better 4). Now they take away one and expect it to work out just fine? It's all a conspiracy to make T stronger!
Wut? Hydra defiler stopped working now vs 1 gas terran? Lies. You think from the box you were raised in.
Anytime and Casy obv here -_-;; Been waiting for Casy for way too fuckn long. He better top 16 it OMFG. He's been working hard for this OSL.
As for Anytime, who's sexier? Pff. NO ONE. GOGO Lecaf Duo~

For those of you unfamiliar with the format that the OSL is played.
The OSL has 16 players, the top 4 finishers from the previous season and 12 qualified players from ODT. They are divvied into 4 groups of 4 with the 4 top finishers as seeds in each group. A selection process is done and voila we have 4 groups of 4.
Traditionally MSL used the double-elimination method and OSL used a round robin format. Round robins are played out so that everybody plays everybody once. The top two scores from the group go on. In double-elimination, when the dust has settled, there is a clear 1st and 2nd place in each group. In round robin, after the dust settles there's still a possiblity of ties. Example: 3-0, 1-2, 1-2, 1-2. This calls for a tiebreaker and an unnecessary waste of time.
OSL has decided the double-elimination method is a far more clean cut way of handling the group stages instead of the somewhat archaic and time-wasting round robin format.

Have they offically changed it to double elimination, or is this just for ODT like it traditionally is.

Hwa Rang Do is simply the passage to becoming one of those warriors. It is the process of becoming a man/warrior. The martial art named after that is based on similar principles.
Also, shouldn't this thread be named ODT? Because it's not specifically on the Ever 2008 SL.

woot woot! exciting! can't wait

Heh. Forget about third gas- Second gas for zerg looks tough on Hwanrangdo. *Seems* like the spread favors T in TvZ via marine harass. I play toss, so I could care less either way, but FE PvZ may be interesting without second gas, heh (Go speedlots!)
