My all-time favorite player is rsvp. Not because he was the best, or funniest, or most entertaining, but because he was the guy helping me get to the next level with his insightful posts in his the Strategy forums, than backing up what he said with a stream with great commentary. So, I think there is a lot of "return of time" or "return of investment" or whatever for pro players that are willing to contribute to the community by writing about strategy. Written articles were always a huge deal in making celebrities in the magic:the gathering community, where the pro-scene is nowhere near as driven by exposition as in sc2. Oh, how I miss rsvp's stream... : / | ||
