Jinro, its incredibly poetic that you ended up inspiring so many... as Nada inspired you. You were, and still will be forever the face of "foreigner" terran in GSL for a long time coming and that is no small accomplishment. And although its a competitive game... frustrating at times, you were always kind and helpful and a hell of a lot of fun to watch. I think it goes without saying, you're #1 around here. Walking away from the game, loved and respected is winning.

Good luck in everything you do, Jinro! I remember watching your GSL runs and fist-pumping when you won a game. I can't say I know exactly what you're going through, but I do know how hard it can be to give up something you love. Stay strong and know that the Starcraft community will always be here for you, no matter how filthy rich you become off of poker

Gorrilla Terran, even as a zerg player i always liked wathcing you play. i honestly think my favorite memories of you playing are when you lost your temper, especially live. it shows how much passion you had; it shows how much you loved the game and how hard you pushed yourself, to the point of intense anger when you couldnt live up to your own expectations.

you were an inspiring player to follow, and i wish you nothing but the best in your future ventures.

Jinro, even though a certain terran on your team has recently taken over my love, you were and always will be my hero.

That sick group where you beat MC with mech twice will forever hold a special place in my heart, and not much has ever out-hyped me on your GSL Ro8 foreigner match with IdrA.

I hope happiness follows you now that you can relax and actually enjoy playing a game you love! I had still better see you in some customs for fun on other Liquid streams though!

maybe jinro tried to hard to have his own style that he never succeded, i watched his games in team league gstl some months ago and he played really weird / very uncommon / almost never seen strategies and they failed him. He got so successfull doing his own strategies when sc2 was new, but i think if he just adapted to the metagame and actually practised from there he might still have been a code A level player.

Liquid`Jinro vs StarTaleTiger on Daybreak for the EWM, maybe the best TvP I've ever had the joy of casting. The way you used nukes to gain a positioning advantage throughout the late game was unbelievably patient and inspired. At the time I was casting somewhere around 50hours of Starcraft II a week and also kept up with ALL the GSL games. With that much SCII and the way metagame works you can sometimes feel the heavy weight of monotony. However, that game was anything but, and is now seared into my memory.

Thanks for putting in the hard work that I'm sure didn't only help you show us great games, but also helped your team mates get to where they've been, are, and will go.

GL wherever you find yourself.
