Also, the first game was just as good, so it also comes highly recommended.

Was that not the first game summary?

Thanks for the write ups!

That was a typo, should have said "Game Two - Antiga Shipyard" ;p

"First of all, we all need to quit blindly defending Tyler's play. I'm sick of hearing the whole Nony/Tyler history everywhere I turn and hypothetical scenarios thrown at me where Tyler plays like a gosu."

So true. Tyler is unimpressive in SC2. He made bad decisions and picked bad builds in his match vs Hasuobs.

let's not rob the winners of their deserved praise by calling their victories coin-flips.
Bravo !

Despite being heavily nerfed in the most recent patch, ViBe

Nice write up! Looks like I got some PvP goodness to watch if that Axslav game interesting. :D

I also fully agree about Tyler. Great guy, funny as hell on SotG, but too many people use past victories and just don't accept that he lost because he got outplayed. Not trying to be mean about it, because I think everyone wants him to succeed... but we gotta be real about it. That's all.

Its strange to see an honest write up on Tyler, most of the time all that is mentioned is his BW play.

As another citizen whose origins lie in NJ, I would also like to criticize Gretorp and TheGunRun for failing to completely credit all the natural beauty and talent that is displayed by nearly all NJ residents.

I wanted to write something nice about Socke here, but I couldn't really come up with so many good ideas (he's 3-1 in his group, beating some very good opponents). Though he is so consistently solid, the problem is that Socke suffers from some horribly bad luck in never having played a memorable game against a famous player that was seen by many viewers. Regardless of what we think of their present skill, we're still gonna remember Rain for his epic win against Boxer at MLG, or Cruncher for knocking Idra out of TSL3. Socke just hasn't had that kind of luck in his career, and I can't help but feel bad that he hasn't had a great showcase match so more people will learn how good he is.

This, this, so much this. I'm the biggest Socke fanboy ever and this is one of the main problems. His epic games tend to be kind of low key. He wins against a lot of very good players and plays a hugely interesting mix of styles, but he's just not getting the recognition. Unless you see him in Germany, where he has an enormous fanbase.

Hm... The demuslim read, while friggin incredible, and I couldn't make it on the spot in any case ever, is a read on whitera's style. He likes to take his 3rd as charge has finished and his templar archives is building. Demuslim made a great timing for himself, and its incredible he has the timings down so well, but its a known thing sortofish.

Not taking away from the man, just explaining how its possible.

Vs Jinro on Desert Oasis in MLG Dallas 2010. Although admittedly, not really any big games since then.

One match that comes to mind is that one game on Desert Oasis at MLG last year that DJWheat went crazy over. Also, he had a great run at IEM Cologne this year. When he went up to the stage to play MC, the crowd was going batsgit crazy for him.
