Amazing article, but... calling it for TOP was... iffy (by iffy I mean it's going to be 4-0 MVP+ Show Spoiler +
Unless of course it's 4-0 TOP, either way
I don't know why you would even resist it)

Nothing to lose if you're wrong. Everything to gain if you're right! :D

But yeah, MVP will probably roll him.

Great write-up and I am definitely rooting for TOP, but my brain says MVP 4-2.

Guys who keep pro-gaming from turning into monotonous drudgery need to be rewarded in some way. Foreign tournament organizers, are you listening? INVITE MKP. There have been like a dozen major foreign tournaments with invite spots for Koreans since MarineKing lost his first final to Nestea. Can't you get him to at least one? MLG, DreamHack, IEM (know you tried last time, one more time please!), MLG, Assembly, TSL, MLG, IPL, MLG, I'm talking to you. MLG.

MKP's been invited to Dreamhack, and IEM, and he qualified for NASL S2, but everytime it just doesn't work out

The more he pulls out like that, the less likely he'll be invited to future events. =/

Top is indeed a very underrated player but I don't think he can beat mvp in a BO7. 4-2 for mvp.

Great article btw. Code A has become really tough/interesting..the prize pool is ridiculously small for that tournament.

I agree with the TOP 4-3 MVP.

I really hope it's exciting and not just some walkover.

So I think TOP can win but I remember he would throw away units a lot before but still just make so much shit that he'd roll over his opponent. He's better about unit control now but it's gonna need to be spot on to take down MVP.

As much as i agree with how good top is i still can't see the finals being far beyond 4-1 or so. Also if code s is jay z and kanye is code a does that make MLG lil wayne? i see nas as the TSL somehow

Very well written articles. For someone who has just started paying attention to the GSL, I really enjoyed the brief history on he past GSL tournaments. Good work!

Super mega write-up....

Love all the stats! Was nice to see the opponent's vs champion's race win %. MVP definitely has looked the most solid throughout GSL history as is expected.

FD pulling off successfully never seen before builds @ the highest level and winning against all odds in Zerg's darkest hour was truly revolutionary. But the game has evolved a lot since then and he has not kept up with it.

Think MVP will definitely win, he's macro is just as good as TOP if not better! However, I hope Top will take some games and put up a great fight!
