He loved being a part of Liquid, and was willing to stay with us for significantly less than other teams. However, the offer that he received from EG wasn't just significant, it was potentially life-changing. " Yes exactly as that quote says, it was about money. "When I was trying to decide whether to stay with Liquid, or join EG, my biggest worry was that if I stayed with Liquid, I would regret it for business reasons. But now, even though I'm confident in my decision to join EG on a business level, I worry that I will end up regretting it on a personal level, because I will miss everyone so much." - EGHuk It was about money there is nothing to argue in that case.

Bad form by EG with the countdown though, we're the largest community and they make a spectacle out of buying one of our stars? Not cool Edit: And christ, he lived in the Ogs-Tl house, there isn't a better training environment on earth. Its just more money Considering EG didn't themselves (afaik) put anything on TL, but instead the community made a big fuss over EG's website, I think it says more about TL's community than it says about EG. Some people were intrigued by the clues and mysteries. Some people were amused because it was kind of like one of those ARG game. Some people just hoped it would be another overhyped announcement and hoped they could rub it in their face (like the whole NASL/Incontrol shennanigans). It's just internet being internet I guess... You can't really blame EG to hype up their announcement, can you ? It's business.

IE, you are, in fact, the one who can't read. =( -Cross I'm pretty sure EG's offer consisted of more than just money, but more likely an own team-house etc and ultimately EG is most likely more able to help huk going for his goal wich is winning GSL (yes because EG owns some money ~~)

" English might not be your first language so I won't sound too harsh, but do you understand the quote you posted? TL obviously won't disclose the numbers as that's against the code, but the rumour is EG gave huk 100K and TL can't match that and that's why Huk left.

t, despite all the hype huk is getting, he didnt achieve what JInro has achieved , yet. A quick gomtv record check show jinro is 2 time gsl semi_finialist, huk only went as far as ro 16. He still has to prove himself to be eye to eye to jinro. I wish this is not the begining of decline for him rather start of another great chapter. Just rember, dowhat u feel is right for yourself. Igonore some other noise and win a ton of tournment. Gl hf
