Who are these "people"? Well if Nazgul said that EG offered HuK something that was "potentially life changing"...we can probably assume he will be comfortable for a progamer. That's not what I was asking. I have obviously read the OP. I am simply wondering where the six figures come from....

I thought he quit Korea for reasons that seem to make a lot of sense...what made him change his mind ? Probably Korean going to foreigners event now, the fact that his level of play has been dropping since he left Korea, and EG probably offered him the possibility to be sent to foreigners event from Korea directly It would make sense. Idra left Korea because the NA scene was so hot and there were more tournaments with money to be had. But now that the Koreans have followed him back to NA, it's no longer easy money. Also, there's the social aspect- with a greater foreign presence it might be a little more appealing to go back. But then again, doesn't he have a girlfriend now?

But as a Huk fan you cant miss the Teamliquid community and its easy the become a part of that, so in many cases you dont just cheer for the player but also the team. So at this momet more then ever before SC2 feels more like a favorit fotballteam or a favorit hokey team and that team loses a great player that perhaps was the reason you started to cheer for the team in the first place. Its a sad day for many fans but it is always fun to see a great person take a step forward in life. Huk fighting (soz BAD ENGLISH)

Of course it's extremely disappointing to see HuK leave TL. He's had huge success under the banner and made many friends and fans as well. I fell like there must have been a hell of an offer for HuK to leave for EG, and it makes me even more sad. It didn't seem like HuK had any problems financing his travels, and I'm sure TL put enough money on the table to last for a shitton of traveling. It's sad to see another player on the rise join EG because of the money, but that's life I guess. Part of me hopes he regrets leaving TL, and part of me wishes he won't regret it. TL is the main team I'm rooting for, and it's easy to see why; all of the members are fantastic individuals and possess great skill. That's the short version anyway. It's a shame TL will lose a great player such as HuK because of EG having more money, but I'll learn to accept that. I wish everyone involved (HuK, EG, TL) the best luck (but TL over EG any day, baby) and I look to the future for many great games. For today though, I will mourn the loss of a great person and player.

- TL losing a good player - An interesting player going to EG, which is pretty far down the list of teams to like (I find they often show way less class (like how InControl likes to put his foot in his mouth, Idra's general behaviour, the puma fiasco, Alex Garfield essentially berating Milkis on air, etc) - A whole website just for that? Pretty much a dud of an announcement after all that hype, particularly with all the leaks like supernova's twitter or the husky video... Can't blame Huk though, since we don't really know the terms of his old and new contracts and what other teams offered him. I hope he still manages to keep his ties to the OGS-TL crowd strong, otherwise he's going to be sorely lacking in decent training partners, barring any other upcoming news.

Also, the youtube video mentioned another announcement coming up. Will this be dramatic as well or just: "We found a nice hotel for Chris and Greg and Puma"? And GL to Huk.

EG won't allow him an opinion on a business decision. He's a little bittch until you meet him one and one and he, im sure, is much more respectful. He's a childish brat with an inflated view of himself. What a great contribution to the thread! Also I really like what EG is doing, lots of content, lots of interesting things to talk about.
