I guess he realized that he could still fly to all the major tournies while being in korea, just like the TL guys.

We can still be pissed that hes leaving and we have every right to be.. Note that a lot of people are complaining that Huk is no longer a part of liquid.. not that Huk is making more money. People are allowed to dislike an event based on part of it, not all of it. For example, I came to TL originally because Liquid was my favorite team, having discovered them by chance as I got into SC2. I am sad Huk is leaving my favorite team and will no longer be wearing the blue of TL. This has nothing to do with how much money Huk makes. If his salary is anywhere near as large as hinted at I can't really blame him for going. E-sports isn't exactly a career that transitions well into anything else so the chance to get financially secure is hard to pass up. Huk has his family back home to think about too, a future wife, etc. He obviously has a lot of loyalty to Liquid but sometimes it goes beyond that. That said I really hope Huk comes back to Liquid after his contract with EG runs its course. He's already said he's concerned he will regret the move from a personal standpoint.. Come home someday, Huk!

However I am sad that he leaves and I do not like the way EG hires people.

Um...tons of guaranteed cash and the oppurtunity to play for the one of the best pro gaming orgs of the west, one that hails from canada as well? Not to mention the oppurtunity to build a foreign team up in korea with already paid for facilities?
