Honestly I can't imagine what it must've felt for Nazgul and the rest of the TL staff who works with the TL team the last couple of days seeing EG hype the shit out of this. Quite frankly I would've just made the announcement on such a sensitive issue, but anything for more media and exposure I guess. I know it is naive thinking but I wish EG wouldn't approach the esports community with such a business first attitude. They claim their "obligation" is to support Huk to the fullest extent as a professional gamer but I see this as the side effect of an organization who made a tremendous financial investment in acquiring a player they know wouldn't have signed otherwise.

Really sad to see HuK go, this time last year I was able to cheer one of my favourite players on one of my favourite teams as I started to learn about everything that is pro starcraft.

If he keeps acting like a teamliquid member though, all won't be lost... and who knows maybe one day he'll come back.

Huk's decision is completely understandable because lets face it money is not the least important thing in life. What I don't entirely understand though is how come a team like TL with much more fan following than EG would not be able to match the latter's offer. Specifically, how can EG whose sc2 team hasn't done well can still attract a lot more sponsorship compared to that of a more popular and arguably successful team. The financial workings of esports are a mystery to me.
