So, I guess my point is not to rip into InCa for making it to the finals, rather for not playing at a high level when it counted the most.

It's incredibly disappointing how many players are considered "Code S" and don't deserve that title. Player Grades are missing for Nestea v SC, and there is some formatting inconsistencies in the other Player Grade sections btw. Not really who doesnt deserve it? Code S has been infused with a lot of new code A talent. There were some great games this last season sc vs nestea wow

It's the finals. A young and unheralded protoss player is pitted against a well-known and dominant zerg player. Almost nobody gives the protoss player a chance. But the protoss player has something up his sleeve; a new build using dark templars, that the zerg will not expect. A build that will change the face of the match-up. Of course, this is March of 2007, and the protoss player is Bisu against the zerg sAviOr. Best part of the article, I laughed. Thanks for the coverage ![]()

NesTea was clearly the best player in the world this last month, with staggeringly good showings in all three of his last matches. That InCa provided no resistance to his championship is a fitting demonstration of NesTea's superiority. People are understandably underwhelmed by the finals, but that is much more the fault of scheduling and brackets than the players. Bash on InCa's incompetent PvZ all you want, but don't drag NesTea brilliance down with it.

i personally don't have nearly the time i would like to watch through all the gsl games and it's not easy to find the ones worth watching, but when your recaps are of a whole round it is often "outdated" and games that is already almost forgotten

The quality of the OTHER games within the actual tournament itself have always produced a handful of extremely memorable sets every season, so in that regard, GSL usually delivers.

If NesTea didn't hold on for just long enough, sC's army would have overrun his main base, which had literally all of his tech. That would have been GG right there. Good points. sC still had a great unit composition. It really did come down to the final push at the cliff in front of NesTea's main. Seemed to undersell (if only slightly) the raw excitement of that game.

I think you meant that the quality of games went down with each GSL... ...which is obviously your mind playing tricks in your head. Seriously, go watch some of the games from only-ladder-maps era (AKA GSL1, 2, 3 and 4). They were, with a few exceptions, mind-bogglingly terrible.

They are missing because he seems ridiculously biased against Terran early aggresion. C+ for SC against Losira? SERIOUSLY? SCs micro against the banelings and infestors in game 1 was world class. His push in game 2 was also top of the line, he deserves a B+ at minimum for crushing one of the top zergs in the world without breaking a sweat.
