It's obviously understandable if you disagree with the ranking, and that's totally fine, but to suggest that the ranking is biased because it is TL's tournament isn't quite fair. Neither is backing that statement up with false facts about the history of the ranking.

The rank is based on results, as this isn't a power rank. It simply ranks them on performance within tournaments which concluded in the past two weeks. Additionally, prizemoney isn't considered nearly as much as quality of competition and performance. Once again, if you'd like to discuss more, feel free to PM me. I'll bite the bait. Thorzain "run" also didnt occur in the past two weeks... Only semis and final match. And back to Nanivwa vs Idra argument have to agree to thesmoosh. IPL1 wasnt stacked. Look at the TLPD (only 5 people from the top) and than again only the Idra vs Kiwikaki game occured in may (since you dont count Naniwa streak cause it wasnt in May). I can only quess that idra is 2nd due to the little world that is right next to your nick. Frankly, the highest level of competition isn't at those tournaments and whilst they are pretty good, I find that Thorzain/NaNi/IdrA's achievements to outstrip anyone elses. To be honest those tournaments are one of the highest level possible due to dew facts. Quick look at the TLPD and we see like 14 people from 1st page of TLPD playing those cups regularly so saying that the level of those competitions isnt highest is the sign of being total clueless. To sum it up. It would be good if there was posted a clear method used to determine the top spots in the tournament roundup. /me throws a ball at Mikilatov.

But if Mikilatov wants to lend a bit more legitimacy to these, it certainly wouldn't hurt to post the method of determination. That said, I'd totally be fine if this would simply stay as a subjective it's-my-opinion-kind of deal. On May 17 2011 17:28 Jaxx wrote: Great roundup, thnx for effort. Btw. you are missing Thorzain in the medal summary ![]() Only players with multiple non-showmatch podium appearances are included. Thorzain "only" placed podium in one tournament. ![]()
