If all foreigners gave as much effort into learning Korean culture as Grrr or even Jinro, they would definitely be very popular with the Korean audience. I heard Artosis knows Korean to some degree at least, but it seems he's the type Koreans like to tease instead of love unconditionally haha (referring to FD and Sls_box's reactions to him, fucking funny to watch). | ||

In all fairness, Jinro studied Korean (through bnet I think) in 2005 or something, and Grrrr played in an era where you didn't need to mass practice to stand a chance. You don't just go to Korea with a proteam and have time and energy to pick up the language. Not easily at least, you'd really have to spend your last hours of free time into taking classes. The fact that Jinro studied it before helps him develop his Korean with the help of the oGs guys in the house. | ||

I can't believe that incessant training can be more productive than a more moderate approach. In which case everyone should have time to have activities besides sc2. Because, without taking the context of the serious work hours pro gamers put in into account, for me, it would be expected that foreigners should learn korean (let alone, it will make their efforts in korea more productive since they can communicate more effectively). | ||
