Sucks that Idra was eliminated, I really enjoy watching him play! I agree about the whole Code S thing, getting Code S is cool and everything but I never understood why people said their goal is Code S, it should always be to win the whole tournament!

great interviews. Cheering so hard for Jinro to get S-Class. Waking up early just to catch the games live when I have work at 8am!

How can the korean players not like Idra?

Thanks for the write-up and the interviews, great job once again :D

I think this thread:
http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=164979

does a fairly good job explaining why.. lol.

Those koreans sounds like whiny little bitches >.< are all south koreans like that? :S

Yes I'm sure that all of South Korea posts on the forums of a gaming website.

TBH, it's not much different from the rage at players who beat our favorite foreign players (the whining part anyway). I'm a fanboy myself and I rage when my favorite players are beaten.. which is good i think.. makes the games all the more fun (but to be honest, read over some of the rage posts a couple days later ... I find myself laughing at some of the stupid comments made during the heat of the moment)

[edit] I'd like to add a bit to what Idra said about him being recognized as being one of the best. To an extent, that is true, whenever Idra plays the commentators always talk about how he has been one of the best zergs since beta, but hasn't been able to show it in the GSLs.

that was very unfortunate for idrA. i usually dont like his style as he seems quite mechanical to me, but the 2nd game was awesome! very bad luck with the 3rd game tho...i really get why sometimes he gets frustrated because his skill should technically get him into ro16 and onwards.

on the other hand, awesome win by Jinro that was some awesome psychological warfare goin on! its really quite smart for him to try to go for macro games as 90% of terrans in the gsl seems to go for early rushes

No, the Korean players have always recognized that I'm one of the best and most of them don't like me very much.

did he just say this after being knocked out in the ro32 for the second time in 3 gsls? he has not reached ro8 once in 3 tries, and still considers himself one of the best?

Get your facts right please. IdrA was knocked out in Ro16 in GSL S2 by oGsZenio.

What's wrong with that statement? IdrA HAS been recognized as one of the best ever since beta in the Korean community. You might think otherwise, but people respect his skill. Manner on the other hand....

Great for Jinro. I've seen some of his recent games and he has really stepped his game up recently. Although I doubt that he is reading these forums right now, I hope he knows he has lots of supporters that are cheering for him. I hope that he continues to have success.

Unfortunate about IdrA. I never watched the games, but it sounds like a single mistake cost him the set. Live and learn right? He is one of the best in world, no doubt. I also think he's probably the best player in the world at getting away with as much as possible economically. He teeters that line so close that it's unbelievable that he doesn't lose more often. With such reckless early game play, I can't imagine how much stress he has going through his head during his games to get away with what he does. Especially when his opponents can effectively guess his strategies for the early game because he caters to that style so much.
Satire is a lesson, parody is a game.

SO HAPPY FOR JINRO!!! ^_^

I am now hoping you become the champ man! Liquid FIGHTING!
I don't think I've ever wished my opponent good luck prior to a game. When I play, I play to win. I hope every opponent I ever have is cursed with fucking terrible luck. I hope they're stuck playing underneath a stepladder with a black cat in attendance a
