JD is not better late game than Clam or Effort.
What he does early games makes his late game that much stronger.
Without really good muta harrass I don't think his late game is that developed.
It isn't bad, but it makes his late game much stronger.
Flash seems to build/use all of his strategies to nullify a muta advantage.

Both are probably still fighting for the last Great SC Player spot, but we'll have to how long this game lasts to confirm one of them.

Wish Jaedong's builds had panned out a tiny bit longer, but it really feels like they were so dependant on not making that single mistake that they fell apart. Game 1, the defiler fail (even 12 lings and a defiler would have done more than those ultras). Game 2, he didn't attack move at those valkiries and it was gg. Game 3 he attacked 1 single time too much, and if he'd have brought a couple lings to bust in after that second attack he would have won. That's Starcraft though, Flash didn't make any mistakes really.

man training with effort really showed in flash's game.
Flash, stork, and boxer are the only players I watch that aren't zerg, so I'm somewhat okay with this loss.
I really feel jaedong coulda had game 3 but he fucked up and overcommitted.

Now, I'm no pro gamer, hell, I pretty suck at SC in general, but if a zerg knows a terran is going 14cc... why doesn't he just early ling rush and force him to do something else? I know it seems noobish to say but I can't see what terran could defend with since he will have no barrack. I just don't get it.

In 2 of the three games flash had an scv in jaedongs nat before the build the cc. If jaedong didn't go 12 hatch flash would have finished his nat wall with rax + second supply before the cc and been ahead anyway.

Great play overall by Flash. Squeezing out as many 14CC as he can out there like a baller. Too bad he didn't win the OSL too, he deserved it.
