for game 3 analysis, i actually preferred day9's version on how the game unwrapped. calm had that huge window to exploit where he had total map control and just charge into 6 oclock expo and wipe that out, and cut off the two bases, but he didn't. instead of focusing his whole army on one position, he does drops here, little zergling attacks there, etc etc, and proceeds to lose as flash amasses a gazillion tanks off his 5 bases.

Game 3 was actually quite handily in Flash's court for most of it. Check out the supply in the bottom right. At like 18 minutes into the VOD (which is less than 18 minutes into the game), Flash has 165 supply, like 40 supply above Calm. There was only a brief moment where I felt the tide had turned when Calm managed to bring down Flash's supply to his level, but Calm failed to capitalize on this. He needed to hit the 6 o'clock expansion and cut off Flash's bases. Since Flash had such a high SCV count, his main and nat were drained of resources really fast, meaning that if Calm could have permanently taken out 6, then he could work to bleed Flash dry. Instead you had Flash bleeding Calm dry even though Calm had 6 gas bases. Which is absolutely ridiculous I might add.

Game 3 IMO highlights the skill gap between these players. Not that I think any other Zerg right now can do better.
