No, dont release the list, send it to a couple of people that you are sure they are not mafia. Realising a list of roles is to give away the advantage that mafia dont know each other.

I didnt get a PM, i supose you have a call for me, keep it, i wont send you my role, i alredy wrote it in the thread.

actually, the way I see it, releasing the list doesn't really give a huge advantage to either side. Since it's out in the public, it just keeps the playing field leveled. Mafia knows who each other are, we flood their inbox with red herrings. Plus his list is probably not 100% accurate to begin with. If he made a mistake and theres a comrade in there, then when mafia contacts him, we gain.

but hey wot do i know, this is just my 1st time playing so this might not even be worth 2cents. Although i'd also be curious to know on what basis you base your name list on. If anything that might be helpful for future games.

All the Mafia probably don't know each other yet. But even if they did it doesn't matter - as a Townie Ver has nothing to hide at this point. He should release the list of names before Night falls. Depending on who dies tonight I'm going to have to take matters into my own hands.

Good morning Comrades!

Unfortunately, we had a few departed brethren last night. Rather than heed my warning of being careful last night, we had no less than 12 people go out last night to do some things. Of course, it was inevitable that the cowardly Ukrainians would strike at night, while we sleep, rather than confront us like strong muscular men.

Comrade LucasWoJ was walking back from headquarters last night with surveillance photos of Field Marshal Ace in his hand when whom we believe to be a sniper fired an anti-tank rifle at him. The 55mm round tore into his head and promptly exploded. While this puny round would merely dent our proud Soviet tanks, LucasWoJ did not quite have the head of a bull-stubborn as he was-and was found with his skull and brains splattered all around the snow. Fortunately he was taken in by our sexually attractive Russian nurses and is expected to make a full recovery.

Likewise, Comrade L made a fatal mistake when he wandered into the local illegal capitalist brothel. While in the brothel he of course made the mistake of selecting the non-Russian woman, and of paying in American capitalist pig currency! It was no wonder that he was punished. We would have arrested him on the spot, but instead he tried to discuss the theory of the people’s revolution to the whore. As nobody listened to him anyways, neither did the whore, whom instead asked him if he wanted an aphrodisiac to get him excited. Comrade L, wishing to ignore his nickname “L the Impotent,” immediately agreed to take the aphrodisiac. Unfortunately, rather than erect his chronically limp socialist organ, the herb instead suffocated the poor L while the whore, who was actually a man, fled.

Fortunately, not all of our brethren were lost today. Zato-1 was wandering down the barracks looking sneaky and holding a bag of gold in his hand when he saw another suspicious character looking like some sort of capitalist ninja with twin armblades. As soon as he said hi, however, the figure charged at him, slashing and twirling with his blades. Zato-1 started waving his Ukrainian spy credentials at the figure, but the ninja kept twirling and cut Zato-1 in two. Only after Zato-1’s last cry did the ninja stop in his tracks, upon which he slipped away, leaving the capitalist Ukrainian Zato-1 dead in the snow.

In any case, Comrades, today we have received news of possible American spies in our midst. I suggest that everybody remain vigilant for anybody visiting them tonight and to report to us any suspicious activity.
