At this point, there isn't really much to go on in Day 1, since there are a lot of new people in this game, thus unable to gauge their personalities, which does not help with the clue analysis. Lynching on Day 1 is going to be a crapshoot unless the detectives can rolecheck, and they can't until night.
Venture Capital is better off spent on lottery tickets rather than investing in E-Sports; you'll get a far better return. The difference is simple: Koreans are tryharding at the game, foreigners are tryharding in real-life.

At this point, barring any bandwagoners, Shikyo is going to be sheriff, and JeeJee is going to be the mayor.

In the parking lot, LTT, the love child of the late L and Samsung Khan's captain, read an Erlend Loe novel in his Audi sports car. Without warning, his windshield shattered and a wave of glass ripped through LTT's face. Passing out from blood loss, LTT's head slumped, sounding a horn that would not be heard in time.

I think the last paragraph can give us the most clue analysis. The town has already analyzed the Erlend Loe clue, which is an author from Norway. The car reference, which is very weak, is in crate's profile with the license plate. The waves could refer to iloveKTF's profile picture of sound waves, and KTF is slumping right now in the current Proleague.

As I reiterated before, Day 1 lynching is going to be a crapshoot. I doubt Pyrr would give out mafia clues easily on the first day.

Since everyone is in support on lynching on Day 1, I agree with chaoser and zeks idea on lynching the inactives, and trying to find clues against them. The clues against Jayme are pretty strong, but as I state, Day 1 clues are usually very weak in terms of trying to analyze them.

I've been trying to find the link with decaffeinated coffee with a drumstick, since that's a pretty strong hint, but nothing says it in their profiles or their usernames.

With the town, I fully agree with the medic list that is constructed, since they are the strongest players with regards to analysis, and the mafia will attempt to get rid of them. This list can also act as a scare tactic to the mafia, since they would not want to waste their kill powers this early in the game. Of course there are dangers regarding whether mafia within the list. With the double lynching, I fully support this if there are strong clues that leads to one of the townspeople, thus we can eliminate as many mafia as possible.

So, JimTudor was a bodyguard. It seems that the mafia probably wanted to stack one of the hits to make sure that he went down. The mafia's mentality could be that they would attempt to knock off the medic list one by one.

Since the town is heading towards the worst case scenario, we have to use the double lynches effectively in order to get rid of the mafia. I'm all in support of lynching Jayme, unless he can defend himself. The clues are pretty strong against teks too, as vx70GTOJudgexv has pointed out, with 3 things that has hinted towards him.

Possibility of a Veteran being hit is unlikely, since Pyrr would post who would got hit. Therefore, the mafia got a person who was saved by the medic.

As for the salesman with the flashy tie, this could mean many things, such as color, or other allusions. The salesman could also be in reference to personality of one of the townspeople, as an outgoing person who's unafraid to speak their thoughts.

Crate, I did write about you with the car reference, but I deemed it too weak to be considered.

The bandwagon has struck and failed. The only positive aspect that could come from this would be getting inactive townies killed, which would help the town immensely.

the problem is, there's like ten of them, by the time we're done with them, we're screwed.

The reason I voted for Jayme was that I believed in the fellow townies clue analysis. With regards to lynching, of course we want to lynch mafia. But if there are only a few clues that point to the mafia, the only other response is to lynch inactive townies, because they do not contribute, even if they are blue. Inactive townies help the mafia more by giving the mafia cover and hiding amongst the inactives, thus not narrowing down the list of mafia.

I apologize for my lack of response since yesterday, since I was away for most of the day, and was too tired to log on to TL and provide a proper response. I have kept up with the thread right now, and I am PMing teks about my role. Shikyo, I hope this removes your thoughts on me.

I'll try to provide some clue analysis.

a sound like the shuffling of pages

Obviously, the sound reference comes back again, which could be either iLoveKTF or bwdero with Black Bolt.

see the blade that had pierced his rib cage from behind

This knife reference could be chaoser and his ninja reference, and their method of killing.

he felt his way to a crowbar leaned against the wall

This mafia member likes to attack with heavy metal objects, as referenced in Day 2 with Jimtudor's death. There is not a definite clue as to who this mafia member is, as most clue analysis that has been done has been a stretch.

The koopie death refers to the salesman reference again, since this mafia member likes to sell their ideas/items in order to get closer to their enemies, who will finish their blows in close range. As the fellow townies have stated, this character could be motbob with the TL Whatpulse team he is trying to advertise in his profile, or Ra.Xor.2 with the idea of selling a religion in his profile.

With regards to voting, I haven't seen sufficient evidence to vote for a candidate, but I hope that someone can provide some better clue analysis, that can help me decide. I will vote for the double lynch, as we have to kill as many mafia as possible to get a town victory.

There must be a medic protection from last night. So we still have a shot at winning today if we get two mafias.

Clue Analysis!

Well, the clues on chaoser are very obvious, with the Pokemon and ninja reference.
The blond hair reference probably refers to epicdoom's poll of women.

Sign of the Cross

This reference refers to religion, and Ra.Xor.2 is the best fit for that clue.

an odious figure soaked with the stench of death

This reference could refer to epicdoom's nationality of India, known for their strong odors (food). This might be a stretch of the clues.

the blast from his double-barreled shotgun

Then the murderer used explosives instead to kill vx70GTOJudgexv. Seems to me that this could refer to someone has an icon that deals explosive or splash damage. Again, this might be a stretch.

To fellow townies that have surrendered/inactive: There is still a shot for the town to win! Your votes could stop the mafia from bandwagoning. Posting more will separate the townies from the mafia, drawing them out so that we can lynch them.

Our plan was to hopefully kill as many people as possible while trying to figure out who the blues were. By the time we figured out who the blues were, it was getting hard to hit them.

Good Game, and thank you Pyrrhuloxia for hosting Mafia.
