"only too see an uncomprehensable phrase before the tv exploded" IS a clue.
The "clumsiness" clue does not point to Qatol.
Enjoy. hmm interesting. the two prime suspects for that clue iirc were Versatile and Qatol. Was there anyone else? And obviously the first one was a clue, i don't know why someone would check on that... but at least we know for sure now i guess. clumsiness may point to semioldguy in the sense that old people may stumble
really shitty lol but w/e

@Caller, that is a possibility. Though I would really wait for more evidence. I recommend keeping a note on that.
Also anyone notice that Sog is a bit inactive?

Yes I have been less than active... and I apologize for that. I haven't just been inactive in this mafia game, but on the site in general if you haven't noticed (in fact most of my activity on TL has been in this thread the past week). I am having graduation issues and have been dealing with that at my university, hopefully my appointment on Monday will clear a lot of that and and free up some of my time that I've been devoting to figuring it out.
As for this thread, I think a lot of you are jumping to conclusions about Ace. I really don't see where people are coming up for arguments against him. Whether you think he is wrong or not is that really something that is exclusive to mafia? Town can be wrong too, and I have gotten a pretty decent townie vibe from him so far. He isn't really acting a whole lot different from past games in my opinion.
I actually find it odd that he has been removed from the Medic list. I would have kept him on. Not only because I have a stronger feeling of his innocence than I do his guilt, but the fact that he was targeted night one (or claims to have been) makes it so that he should be protected again tonight by whoever may have protected him last night.
Right now I am pretty suspicious of Qatol... not only did the two people he left off of his first medic list, that I would have included, get killed, but now he has left Ace off the Medic list and his own aggression is really not something the Mayor should be doing in my opinion unless he has a specific reason to be doing.

@Sog. Thanks for letting us know what's going on.
I'm not fully blaming Ace for the death of Versatile, but we are taking what Versatile said in consideration.
Also, the fact that he stuck up for Jeejee as much as he did troubles me. I was looking in past games, he has never defended someone so hard. Also he seems a bit cockier this game then what I could tell previous games. (I will add i didn't go through the whole thread of the previous games, but just a lot of pages to give me an idea.)
To me Ace is almost kinda useless. If he is a townie he isn't helping much, so lynch him and we just lose a townie that hasn't caused us to progress, he is not giving us much information when he says anything.
He might as well bluntly just tell us someone is mafia or not and we should just blindly listen to him. Cause most information he gives lack information and reasoning. If he gives reasoning they hold some merit but they aren't strong, they are nearly weak in some cases.
Ace is also giving lame excuses about since he didn't vote for Versatile he = innocent. It's stupid to just believe him so easily like that.

Lesson 1 of being a good Mafia hunter: The town does not need to know everything about everything at any given time. If they did, then this would only tell the Mafia exactly what to do. Yes, it is pro-town to share your reasoning, but it is also pro-town to catch Mafia, and the two things do not always coincide. Use your best judgment as to whether information you have would be best revealed or kept to yourself.
I think Ace applies this very well in that he hides what is best to be hidden and makes known what is best to be known. This is, of course, a judgment call, but I think I know where Ace is coming from in his posts. Saying where I think he is coming from could undermine what he is actually doing though, but he has a good head on his shoulders and for now I trust in my own feeling of his innocence.

Day 3
The town dispersed once more, fleeing for the safety. Some went to their homes, others to places they believed to be safe. Everyone thought they were safe, the clock had struck 2, and no sounds were yet to be heard, all was clear this night.
With that in mind, Rage and truthbringer left the bar they had been hiding in. Rage walked down the street, gun in hand, with truthbringer following closely behind. As rage turned onto the block in which he lived, he heard a grunt from behind him, he turned and leveling his gun, saw a garrote wire around Truthbringers neck, and a figure standing closely behind him. He darted to the side to get a better shot, only to feel something slam into the back of his left leg, dropping him to the ground, as he turned his head to the side, he caught a quick glimpse of a man swinging a long object, caving rage head in. Quickly thereafter truthbringer head rolled across the sidewalk.
Across town, Fakesteve[tpr], amber[light], and infundibulum were staked out inside fakesteve’s house. The three had each taken up guard at different points in the house to prevent being hit. Fakesteve was in the living room, behind a couch, gun pointed at the largest window, waiting for mafia to attempt to enter. Amber[light] was at the top of the stairs with a rifle aimed at the front door, and Infundibulum had a shotgun aimed at the backdoor. The three waited in silence, for any sound of an attack. Amber[light] was the first to hear a sound, and slowly turning, he heard a creaking sound from a room down the hall. Cautiously he investigated, and slid into the room. He saw Fakesteve’s computer on, which he knew had been turned off hours earlier, so he moved around the room, looking for signs of entry. As he passed the desk he noticed a weird phrase on the screen. As amber[light] looked down from the computer, he noticed a figure under the desk, and a metal glint in his hand. Two silent shots later, amber[light] collapsed to the ground, and the man fired another shot into the body’s head for good measure.
Infundibulum heard a thud from upstairs, and slowly started to back up, moving for the staircase to check on his friend. As he turned to the staircase, he noticed a man staring at him from the kitchen, he moved forward weapon in hand, and charged, and let a shot fire. The cupboards splintered open, and the man ducked to the side, and flew his arm out to the side waving an object at Infundibulum, with a wicked smile on his face. As the man hit the floor, infundibulum reloaded, then moving forward again, slipped on the debris on the ground, and dropped his gun, which hit the ground and fired, shredding Infundibulum’s chest.
Fakesteve[tpr] never had a chance to retaliate; he turned towards the kitchen at the sound of shotgun fire, only to be enveloped in a black shroud. He felt an object glide through his shoulder and down to his heart, and something probe his jacket pockets before the void took him.
Three blocks away, Ace was gathering his things, and then lifting a hood over his head, he left his house, in search of clues towards the mafia hidden in the town. As he left his house, he saw a man, eyes wide open, shakily level a machine gun. Moment’s later ace was dead.
Showtime! and laxercannon headed for the gunshots, hoping to be able to save whomever they could. As they ran, they saw a man hiccupping and swaying moving towards them. Showtime moved to see if he was ok, and moved his hands to steady him, the next thing Showtime! knew, he had a knife stuck in his chest. Laxercannon turned, and drawing a knife of his own he moved to attack the man, only to stop dead, as an arrow pierced his neck. As laxercannon fell, he saw a man stepping out of a nearby alley.

Obviously vigis dont read Malongo. Why the fuck hit Ace hit Quickstriker said Malongo. Im too angry to make a good post, maybe tomorrow i can come with something other than the obvious.

Time to lynch Qatol, there should be no contest, not even quickstriker. Qatol led us into one townie after another, wrote walls of text fighting ver and ace, let's not have him fool us again.

Um, WTF.
I'm pissed. I knew I would die tonight. BC gives us like 4 days before posting anything. It hasn't even been 24 hours later and he posts the Day 3 post.
Well, that's all I can say for now. That's fucked up man. Really fucked up. You guys do the math.

GJ vigis! Rarely do I get the pleasure to play with such a foolish town.
On another note: I wanted to make a post about Ace and Qatol and whatnot, but before I knew it, it's the next day already. A bit too soon

What the... I was still gathering my thoughts about Versatile, Ace and Qatol and figured I had a good day or so left to post. After last time, I didn't expect Day 3 to dawn so soon.
At this point, I think the town has to lynch Qatol just to get some peace of mind. (Though, with Ace flipping green and Versatile turning out to be a veteran, I can't help thinking how ironic and sad it would be if he too turned out to be town-aligned and this all turned out to be a wrong road.)
I'll try to contribute some clue analysis as I look over Day 3 events again. With so many deaths, we're bound to be able to link something to someone. For now, I think the weird phrase that Amber[light] sees on Fakesteve's computer screen might link up with the incomprehensible phrase Scaramanga sees on his TV before he dies. Maybe we're looking for someone with an affinity for electronics, or just for leaving messages to the person they plan to kill? Fakesteve's death is especially strange; I'm not even sure how to interpret it. Was he suffocated in a black shroud, or does the object that "glides through his shoulder" mean he was getting impaled with a knife?
