Actually, that makes sense. Kind of makes me wonder what the point of adding the AoC role to the game is... It'd be cool if it was like a one-persyn army role like the Joker who comes in and just fucks with everyone mafia and not and can only be killed by the Batman role... and the Batman could get killed normally and if anyone role checks him he gets demasked and loses his power. And that would be stupid and that's why I'm not running a mafia game. | ||

For example: Ace is a great player. Mafia or not, I'd want him in office. You know when he is looking out for the town and if he isn't, you know he's mafia and it's time to get him out. With a smart Mayor you can actually make a clearer judgement on the decisions he/she makes. With a not-so-smart Mayor with bad logic and reasoning skills, they can fall back on their shortcomings. Also, if a smart Mayor is making decisions that are not to the benefit of the town, you know you have to boot them out. Mafia or not, we need a good player in office. If they're mafia, their intentions become clear and we can get them out of there hopefully by Day 2. Stupidity and bad decision-making hurt the town enormously. | ||

Also I don't believe there are vote checks. It's gonna be pretty tricky for town but I got faith. I think there should be a considerable effort to There is no way to really get good information before the election is over unless someone can think up a really elaborate scheme to bait information out (I got nothing, sorry). The intelligent way to go about this is to vote for whichever Mayor has the best plan. Since there's no real way to determine alliegances this early, we may as well go for the odds and elect the top mayor. | ||

If you did not get a PM let me know ASAP! Read the OP to make sure you are up to date on how ALL the roles work. PM me any questions you may have, or anything that needs clearing up. Also, if Vigis and Mafia hit the same target, Mafia hits take precedence and the Vigi hit is saved for another time. Mafia also don't lose kills due to any of them dying in the middle of the night. The kill will go through as normal. | ||

And I'm pretty sure that whoever gets elected would use some form of Ace's old plan. It has been proven too effective not to be used. As to two families, that is a new aspect for me, it should make the game entertaining if nothing else. | ||

Voting ends at around 3 AM Eastern Tuesday Morning/Late Monday Night. That's about 25 hours and 20 minutes from now. Let the games begin! edit to add: No one can use any powers before the Mayor voting since it's not Day 1 yet. So no Capo or DT acts yet. | ||

I've been playing mafia for 3 games in a row now. This is my fourth. I have the experience. Of all four games, counting this, I am innocent THREE Times now. I can promise you the best for the town and will always be willing to do whatever the town wishes. For the past three games, I've really done nothing to help my side, just vote and watch, really. This time I want to make a change and ultimately, lead the town to victory. So vote for me! I won't fail to deliver. make the right choice. | ||
