Alethios: I believe the first day is entirely dedicated to voting for the mayor, who THEN selects one person to lynch. The point is really moot; if I lynch a candidate that few people dispute, that puts us in a position to see if he is in fact town or scum when he dies and we find out his alignment, which can then be used as a springboard for future discussion.

There is only the vote for mayor the first day. He alone chooses who to lynch that day also. Next day voting will proceed normally.

If, every day, you come home from school and smoke a joint before your parents get home, and one day they stay home sick, obviously you're not going to do it then. It's a silly comparaison but it's the same in essence.

Why wouldn't you do it again is a much better question! You claim to habitually save in .png yet are worried about being accused of saving an obviously edited image in .png? You can see how this inconsistency can be suspicious.

from the Windows program Paint? Every computer I've ever been on has always had JPEG as the default.

Well obviously mafia mayor and mafia pardoner would be disastrous for us townies, but out of the first 2 I think a mafia mayor and town pardoner would be second best (best obviously having both townies) because besides the first lynching a mafia mayor wouldn't be able to control much for his side. The only power he has is declaring a double or triple lynch, which isn't guaranteed to favor the mafia. I'm saying this under the assumption that the mafia, like us, are mostly noobs and wouldn't be able to sway lynch votes as easily as veterans could.
However a mafia pardoner could easily pardon up to four of his fellow mafia members if they get found out, and I doubt it would be all that difficult to make up an excuse as to why they should be pardoned. Also since a pardoner can pardon up to 4 people that means 4 extra day/night cycles the mafia have to make their hits and win the game.
What I'm trying to say...is that we should probably lynch the pardoner first to be absolutely sure.

If you become bodyguard then you'll probably get killed at night. Reason I say this is because if the mayor finds out you're his bodyguard then he'll probably try to defend you from being lynched, and if that happens then the mafia will realize something's up and then kill you.
