Is he self-aware ? Or is he oblivious and probably stupid and rash, like most of us? We have to adapt to the pace of time to become perfect. Could you quote statistics in America without sounding racist ? Probably not. Because time wasn‘t able to put in the work. Time doesn‘t anticipate. If we anticipated the work of time, it wouldn‘t be racist. By expecting time to even it out, everyone can stop being. Time works too slowly for the demands of the few. Racism can fix that for them. Time isn‘t on their side. But raci is easy to prove when you focus on a snapshot. Does this concern you Chez ? | ||

Do what the want with it. With sufficient computing power, a clone of your neurons and their settings coule be hijacked. It could be put through immense pleasures, immense tortures, or a long shot at immortality. But the fake creator, in this case, would hold a monopoly over one of your possible selves or selves at a given time, and manipulate it at its will. Your average person would have no way of telling if it were living in the copy or the original. A gaming equivalent would be soulkiller in cyberpunk. The only way to stop this is to ensure that our thinking patterns can‘t be appropriated, stored, and changed at will by powerful individuals. Otherwise you, the product of your current experiences, could be copied and tortured in a virtual space, and be able to feel it in your own. | ||

You could feel it, because feelings can‘t be replicated. But your last remaining hope would be that sun and entropy destroy such creations, with no way of telling what time would feel like while lasting in those constructs. | ||

Maybe there is already way to know that a copy of a construct and its original share the same experience, perhaps weakened. It‘s what it felt like for me when it happened. We are obligated to respect the copy as much as the original. | ||
