After getting off of the cart once parallel on the side of the base of the vehicle, I noticed many students sitting at tables in this large open room as if it were a large warehouse or hangar. They either greeted me as Mr. or Dr. Brown. I don't fully recall. I soon then awakened. Last night a noob smoked in the elevator at 1:AM and it set off the building alarm. I live in 812 Square feet. This is an industrial grade alarm system with strobes and peircingly loud fixtures. I also have an auditory processing disorder. Each time the alarm went off, I felt like I was being shocked by a horse fence wire inside my spine. The pain immediately gave me the worst panic attack in my life and caused me to start crying out loud and also in the sense of shedding streaming tears while talking like a baby. My mother in law, sister in law, wife, and daughter huddled together with our hands on our ears while I wailed and cried and shook. Some time in (it lasted an hour, felt like 12) my hands went numb with the shaking. A little while in my wife also wrenched herself from me hugging her, and my in laws shielded her from me while mocking England. (I'm about 55% anglo). About halfway through (I think?) My wife started laughing. I'm mortified that I now seem pathetic to them. I am also afraid of the alarm fixtures now and can't look at them directly for too long. Why do they insist that we live in a place like this? | ||
