You are the Hindu-Arabic Council Recruiter.
Fibonacci has sparked a great debate between using Hindu-Arabic or Roman numerals. You support his claim that Hindu-Arabic numerals allow for better measurements and more accurate conversions. In your effort to bring enlightenment to the world, you are assembling a council of like-minded mathematicians.

Each night, you may recruit one player to your council. If they are a Hindu-Arabic Mathematician, they will join your QT.

You win with town.

Alternative win-condition: You win if you recruit both Hindu-Arabic Mathematicians to your council before End of Game.

You are a Hindu-Arabic Mathematician.

You are one of the preeminent mathematicians in Pisa working with Hindu-Arabic numerals. In response to Fibonacci’s recent suggestion that the world use your numbering system to achieve greater accuracy and facilitate conversions, a Hindu-Arabic Council is being formed in support. But there is also a Roman Council working to oppose the change.

You win with town.

Alternate win-condition #1: You win if you are recruited and serve on the full Hindu-Arabic Council.

Alternate win-condition #2: You win if all associated with the Roman Council are dead before End of Game.

You are the Anti-Inquisition Poisoner.

You have learned that the great mathematicians of Pisa, including Fibonacci, are being targeted by an Inquisition operative. You have rigged a device to release fatally noxious gas that can be triggered by an opening door.

At night, you may place your device in the home of one player (including your own). If anyone visits that player, the device will go off and kill any visitors (and (un)fortunately also the player you chose). You only have one device, but it will be refunded if not triggered.

You win with town.

Alternate win-condition: You win if you kill that nasty Inquisition operative with your device.
